Gouken vs Cammy is interesting. I actually think he does okay vs her (as in, it’s not a 7-3 blowup). He loses when she gets in but counter means unblockables/ambiguous setups aren’t free (meaning she has to rely on easier to defend mixups) and he does a decent job keeping her out. It’s also a match not a lot of people have experience in, and Gouken can make that hurt sometimes.
Also, somebody keep posting about what happens at SCR, I can’t watch at work.
I’m excited for the FT7 with Infiltration vs Latif tonight. I think Viper beats Akuma because tournament results have been wildly in favor of that over the last two years, but Infiltration beat Wolfkrone in that money match like 10-1 or something, so he has tricks. Latif’s offense is so scary though. Should be a really good set, and both players will be looking to run heavy offense so it’ll be fast. Wish they’d do a FT10 or something though.
