I dunno, I played the demo and that was enough for me to steer clear.
Don’t buy DMC, buy Anarchy Reigns. It’s only $30
haters gonna hate. It’s fun
Anarchy Reigns looks like turd however.
you look like a turd.
loljk<3
Dmc is fun I bought it like 2 hours ago and I like thw story. Dante looks like a druggie but its still a dmc game.
the story is alright lol, hes a little too righteous… i miss the CUHRAYZE Dante just fucking around with everybody and thing around him. Regardless its still an entertaining game, and the gameplay is still up there with the others. Definitely not as good as DMC3 but… none of them are heh
those 3 hit’s with the axe gifs don’t work in the actual game from what i notice, unless you go full stylish with perfect damage boost dodges and shit? regardless… i’ve earned any SSS combos i’ve gotten lol
I just got to chapter 15… not sure how many there are though.
Goddamn the gaming partition of HDD just went dead on me, and steam folder basically became unreadable. I have to download steam games all over again on my new drive
I feel so bad that I’m going to UofC on Thursday to play the game I haven’t touched for quite a while. I won’t be able to go to Tubbies from now on for a while, so I had to find another place to go anyways.
SMOKE WEED EVERY DAY
peter i can not edit that spreadsheet
The Cave, Ron Gilbert’s next game, comes out next week! Cool, I was interested in this last year when they announced it, but thought it was still a ways away. Definitely gonna be picking it up at launch if it reviews even half-decently.
DON’T WORRY, NEITHER HAVE I. (y)
Finished it on Nephilim (hard mode)
Not very hard, but i enjoyed it. The final boss kind of made me facepalm since i didnt catch on to the fight mechanic to actually finish the fight, so he would keep healing deerrpp
Time to get all the secret missions and shit, and play it on son of sparda mode~
wow. im ready to play sf4 again.
black ops 2 probably has the most retarded shit in it.
im only @ level 17. and im doing pretty good.
but theres alotta retarded shit in black ops 2 now.
im not a fan of the new scope for the assault rifles man.
those fucking assault rifles with the red and blue sensor r so fuckin cheap.
u dont need to learn how to aim properly and shoot.
when they scope, it just turns red when ure on target and theres a square on any targets in the scope. so wack.
so u dont need to train ur eye to spot enemies anymore.
so wack, i feel like instead of thinkin how to assault or snipe.
the realistic way is be a fuckin tool and run and gun with ur team.
everyone with assault rifles with that scope so there is a fucking square on any target on screen. and when it turns red anytime, u shoot.
did they fix that bullshit in the full game where theres no fucking lock on button so it makes it almost impossible to do stinger consistently?
when i see stylish combo videos like the ones i posted here a page back for DMC4 then maybe ill think about playing it. i have been considering getting anarchy reigns though. played the demo a while back and its pretty good. plus playing as bayonetta would be awesome.
There is no lock on, but stinger isn’t really all that great anyway, it kind of… auto targets i guess? i’m not really sure… but i havent had a whole lot of issues with it missing anyway
Looks like Skullgirls has a good chance at being the Players’ Choice game at Evo.
I hope it takes it, the game needs it in order to have a future.
Again can someone bring gcn controllers to tubbys tomorrow I’m bringing brawl
If I come I’ll bring some
dark souls diary entry #3
had a lot of trouble beating ornstein & co., so i just mucked around in the game world for a while. found havel’s set, looks cool, got enough endurance or whatever it is to use a couple pieces at once without falling down. revisited sens fortress & blighttown, bought my first pyro spells (combustion / great combustion), got pyro hand to +13.
eventually got sick of mucking around and tried to kill fat albert and slim jim again. solaire didn’t help at all so i just gave up on doing that, plus one time i was human some dick invaded my game and 1shot me. all spells did 0 damage, even though i hit him about 3 times. lame.
eventually beat the dynamic duo by killing fatty w/ long range spells, then running under mega-slim’s legs and lighting his ass on fire. it was pretty tense, i ran out of estus so i had to resort to humanity, which seemed kind of stupid. i ran out of that too, and was at the magic pixel for both of our life bars. suicide run in with stabby weapon, just barely managed to kill him. quite a rush.
there was actually a point where i was out of estus, spells, and humanity and i got knocked down w/ no visible pixels on my lifebar so i figured i was dead and put the controller down in defeat for the night. then my brave little soldier got back up again and i had to scramble to mash roll to get away from god knows what hell was coming down on me from above.
that would be an awesome way to end it today, but unfortunately i used the fire keeper’s soul i got from the black eye thing quest to reinforce my flask and apparently the firelink bonfire is out forever now? huh?
People invading your game in DS is really, really annoying and (imo) one of the worst parts of the game. It basically means you need to be offline every time you want to make yourself human (to, say, kindle a fire), but if you want to summon a human player to help with a boss battle, you have to be online and odds are, you will get attacked on your way to the boss by people who just like to gank. Anor Londo is actually a prime location for ganking because there’s a side thing you can do there involving lots of players turning human and fighting each other, so it’s extra crappy.
The Firelink bonfire going out is actually preventable, but you need to know it’s going to happen and take a very specific action early in the game to prevent it… basically nobody does that their first time through the game. You can get it working again though, it’s not permanently lost, you just have to do a sidequest (I think you can even do it right now). I would definitely recommend doing it, too, that bonfire is so important for everything. If you want to look up details of the quest, search “Lautrec”. You’ll probably remember encountering him early in the game.
That rush of beating something just barely is one of the best parts of DS, though, so I’m glad you got to experience it. It’s the reason you put up with the rest of the crap the game subjects you to.
