I want a Choco taco. Look that shit up.
RE5’s wonky ass split screen was terrible. I wish they would do a better job with that if they impliment it into RE6

You’re terrible.
I don’t think you understand the magnitude of a XXL Chalupa.
This implies that there is a L Chalupa and even a XL Chalupa.
And even then, Americans collectively said “This will not do.”
Yo I bought this at CostCo a year or two ago here in Calgary! No lie!
WHAT. don’t you lie to me gregory! I want them, its a childhood desire i must fulfill!
the split screen was pretty bad and I hope they fix it, and 5 is hilarious- it’s like RE ultimate match.

wow falken. I just started using your method for Crow Bite drive cancel to ein trigger, your method is definitely the easiest.
Ugh that RE6 trailer. The beginning with Leon was cool, and then everything else happened and I am scratching my head at the some of the new gameplay choices. I mean it makes for a good trailer but I don’t think it will make for a good RE game. The Leon part was cool and that story arc could be interesting. I mean it is over the top, but I definitely think it could be done well. What is not good is the fact that it looks like they turned the most recognizable survival horror game into Uncharted 4: Racoon City. Action and Horror do not mix well together. If an action movie has horror elements they are usually just cheap jump scares that are entirely forgettable. The game looks like it’s going to have huge set-pieces ala the Uncharted games. This could be cool, but they will not be scary. When stuff like that happens in games you’re supposed to be in awe of it, not shitting your pants and trying to figure out how to survive.
Also, it looks like we’ve got some oh so original cover-based shooting thrown into the mix. Because you know what makes for a terrifying game? Ducking behind sand bags and playing in the shooting gallery. What’s even worse about this was that it seemed like it was going to be team based in at least the Chris section of the game. This was my biggest gripe about RE5. It was a decent enough game on it’s own I suppose (I don’t really believe this myself), but it was a terrible RE game. The fact that you had a partner throughout the whole game made it a lot less frightening. You had someone watching your back, and there was someone there who could save you. This goes against both the survival and the horror aspects of the genre, or at least dumbs it down significantly.
I know games need to get bigger and showcase the hardware more, and I know that even RE4 (an unbelievably good game) had big action setpieces, but there still seemed to be something left of the genre there. Do these games need to innovate so much that they go against the previous titles though? I’m not asking for a remake of RE2 (my favorite), but is it so much to ask to move more towards that? I think that when Capcom had a huge hit with RE4 they figured that it was because it went in a lot more of an action game sort of direction. I think it was such a good game because of the balance the game struck between that action style gameplay but still with the feel of RE2 style survival horror. If they made RE6 with you on your own in like a quarantined Camp David style environment dealing with the people who fucked up the president that would be sick. You could like run around and shoot zombie one percenters or something, I would buy that game in a fucking second.
TL;DR - RE is not a team or action based game, why is that trailer full of team action?
tl;dr
you’re wrong. it’s going to be awesome.
If you want to be scared… ANY “horror” game that has the ability to do anything more than search and fucking run for your life isn’t scary at all. It doesn’t mean it can’t be awesome with an eerie environment.
Even then old RE games were only scary because you didn’t know what to expect. Now you see a hallway with windows and complete silence your body just automatically goes oh look, its obviously too quiet, theres a vent on the wall and multiple glass windows. I expect something to happen between this point and the end of the hallway.
Regardless I see why you want it to be preserved, but i don’t agree with you!
