I have a pretty poor understanding of how actual japanese people my age talk. I just know the grammar and vocab, polite style pretty much across the board. Every meaning of words I have is dictionary style and not any colloquial, street meaning.

Jamie it all depends on how they say them. Accent, tension and stuff.
TBH I’m a bit exaggerating, but in overall English has stronger words so when I translate from Japanese to English I take that part into consideration as well.
While the ways ppl talk irl and online are obviously different, ppl usually talk politely from the browser game I play in.

Google says it’s a type of rice cracker. I think I’ve had these before, they’re tasty but very crunchy/crumbly. Slightly sweet flavour, but mostly salty. Also deep-fried and fatty. Which korean grocery? The one on 10th Ave downtown is right near my place, I’ve been going there a lot. Better Japanese food selection than T&T.
