So Simon and I are doing it wrong?
Uhh with Shulk you can get an otg butt splash with Nemesis ground bounce assist for a combo extender…
To get in with her I can only see Dark Hole working (Kind of, but not really), She works better with a horizontal assist to cover her approach.
Don’t know shit about Nemesis
Dormmammy es bueno
You forgot get your ass kicked when that’s all you do
Claim that the game is the worst
Pick up KoFXIII
Get your ass kicked at that, too,

u can focus backdash meaties on wakeup. dunno if its the best option vs other characters but it works vs ibuki. just make sure u dash the right way. its good cuz option selects wont come out either.
of course if ur opponent knows u like to do that they will come up with other options to punish ur wakeup.
raping people with my gief is really fun. raping people in marvel is ultra satisfying but I am nowhere near that good and don’t know where to begin. I want to learn. I guess I just… love rape.
I’ve replaced Nemesis with Sentinel on all my teams. Let’s rock and roll.

do u have a video of this guy? id like to see that.
and ur sandbox analogy is very accurate. marvel is fun shit. ibuki is a little more bonkers than most characters in SF so shes the only thing keeping me interested in it. plus i feel like i can never plateau with her cuz her shit gets pretty advanced.
nemesis/hulk/sentinel. do it.
lol. someone should make this a meme.
In related news I’ve been in the lab with a new team
Captain American/Crimson Viper/Ironman
My CapAm still dishes out pain and can get around 1mil damage for two meters.
Viper is a work in progress, I feel that my mixups are okay right now but right now I can only get 750-800k solo combos for two meters (that I usually build within the combo) which I assume is not that good.
TK Seismos are hard.
So far all I know with Ironman apart from a corner combo is magic series OTG super lawl
Repulsor Blast is awesome, though.
call me crazy but i never block on wakeup EXCEPT against ibuki and akuma.
against everyone else on my wakeup, its either reversal dp, autocorrect dp or (focus attack) backdash.
P.S. NAV! CALL ME!!
I play Felicia/Rocket Raccoon/Amaterasu cause they all have tails.
I can’t seem to get RR boulder loop consistently though.
rolling somebody with Abel feels good too, but less than 10% of my rounds actually go like that. marvel by its nature is always one player destroying the other. the game engenders so many bad feelings. I wish the neutral game was a little less braindead because then I think it’d be way better overall but ehh.
check last page dude I posted it up. towards the bottom. so sick.
haha I should have switched to Ibuki when she first hit the roster. I had been tempted at the time but ended up going back to Abel I think to train up for a tournament… can’t really remember. before I stopped playing I was able to hit her 1f links out of her kick move for the big loop combos pretty well too… Sako does some really cool stuff with her that blows my mind

lol that sounds backwards. but hey u beat me pretty consistently so what do i know? (then again most of ibuki and akuma’s mixups are safejump setups, so it might be better not to try reversals.)
a good tip is to uppercut ibuki right after u block her mixup correctly. j.lk doesnt provide enough blockstun to be a true blockstring, unless its cancelled into air target combo. usually her blockstrings have lots of gaps in them unless its all target combos, which dont do much for her except push her too far back. but im sure u knew that already considering how many uppercuts i’ve eaten.
oh shit k ill check it. lol ibuki rolls ppl most of the time. if she’s winning, she’s probably stunning her opponent every round lol. i think the amount of perfects she gets compared to other characters is quite a bit. thats why shes so fun haha. but yeah i think if marvel had a bit more footsies it would be better.
i would never advise someone to not block on wakeup because its great advice but in my logic, why block if you “know” your opponent is going to try something on your wakeup? if you think he’s baiting then why block? why not backdash?
thats how i simplify it. i only block against setups that will make my dp whiff. even then, i should be focus dashing out of those setups (that’s how poongko deals with those setups).
you have to be confident in your reads and go through with it.

I’m going to learn spencer and do cap/spencer/wesker o_O until i know wtf im doing with him i shall continue with cap/doom (rocks)/wesker (wallbounce) or cap/hawkeye/wesker
Cap is fun, easy and does stupid damage.
in sf4, you can always take your character and your game to the next level, its been easily done in japan.
so why can’t our scene do it?
I’m just gonna continue playing and improving because i honestly think this game will be around for 10 years.
AND!!! someone needs to defeat Jamie, for reals.
I haven’t played Jamie in a while but last I checked I’m consistently able to come close to beating him. Unfortunately Vega has so many options against Gief that he always pulls out a clutch win in the end.
Sounds right up my alley, but then Vergil Wesker and Strider would eat me alive.

marvel is fun when people dont play the best strategies in the game. sent vs sent against simon is probably the most fun i have in marvel(or really any game for that matter), but if you want to win tournaments you’re not going to stray from the tried and true formula of wesker/strider/dante/virgil/wolverine/whoever + doom beam/akuma/im beam/frankwest/whoever, and playing against that is just plain retarded, for both parties.
when i play marvel i dont really give a fuck anymore, i go crazy with drones + wolverine and can scum out wins against anyone, even barring the fact that I haven’t played this game seriously(or much at all) since evo. i really dislike the game because i can do day 1 stuff that is so good that i can beat legit good players with it. i really dont like that i can pull wins of alan and cody and mike c when they put real time into the game and i just do 50/50s where i have no idea what the outcome is going to be and convert for basically a kill. or if not a kill, then otg you into drones and go random with berzerker slash that will lead to a kill
ever since i stopped giving a shit about marvel i have a lot more fun with it, but there is times(like last weds vs andy) where i think i got to press jab once before he ocv’d me 2 straight games with virgil and the game feels dumb. dat crossunder launch on wakeup lol. normally in a situation like that i’d be fired up to try and run it back, but with marvel its like welp i didn’t guess right so i lost…what is there to work on and improve in the game? not get hit by a last second dash-under launch, or an assist covered teleport mixup? i could do it in training mode on myself and try to see the setup coming, but the way the engine works all you need to do is time it a split second either way to get either side. this is really really bad with wesker especially, but is the case with most characters, like wolverine
don’t get me wrong, jamie is our city champ.
fucking solid.
but the scene will get boring if people stop putting forth effort to challenge the best.
man, if someone does go beyond that shit, its the next level, 4th dimension. 4D!!!

i agree with this, though if anyone was really good at doing OS sweep you’d have some problems. balrog for example is pretty much built to stop this, but i dont really OS
i try to but i think most of the time i’m just reacting to a backdash and sweeping
