Mine seems to be behaving for once. Probably helps that I actually did switch to wired like, yesterday. Before I was entirely on wireless. The game feels much nicer now, haha. Maybe I’ll actually be able to win online now…

Another day, another post about how terrible online play is in SSF4. Never seen a Guile do reversal upside down kick and get away with it before! I learn new strategies every time I play. I guess I need to stop picking people with 4 frame link combos and just pick people who can press buttons for all their damage.
The worst part? Online in this country is only going to get worse, and MvC3’s online will almost assuredly be worse than SSF4’s (plus the game is faster and needs more hit confirming, so good luck with that). There’s no reprieve.
I seriously should just go find a new hobby. I can never play SF anymore without feeling extremely frustrated.

At least we’ll have Yomi soon… I have the same problem with SF online. It literally feels unplayable. My internets has been especially slow the past couple of days, and it looks like Adam’s was to? Maybe it’s something on Shaws end.
You can always play WoW, like me, Ricky ;). Starcraft is way too hard to be even half decent at haha. And People say fighting games have barriers… And new pokemans in a couple months!
Honestly though, I’ve never been more hype for a game than for the new Marvel. I hope online is somewhat playable. Shouldn’t online play actually get better in the future what with the Internet caps forcing people to DL and stream less? Teh internets is a rubic’s cube to me.

if the Abel is trying to normal roll out of safe jumps on wakeup, he sucks and you won’t need OS to beat him haha
Yah… Raiding is admittedly pretty lame (the art design and stories are sometimes cool though). But it’s actually great fun to just go online with four good friends and just pwn noobs in a battleground for an hour. I find the PvP a lot of fun, but only with friends (Even getting stomped over and over while trying to beat a boss is is fun if you’re just laughing with friends). Some people treat the game like a job though. Those people are stupid. But whatever floats a person’s boat, I guess.
And Marvel tourney in Edmonton!? I’m so there.

the problem with wow is that its entirely gear dependant. if you’re not a complete retard you can be among the top 1% of players
battlegrounds are (or used to be) a joke. again its gear dependant. we used to play AB and id have a shaman throw windfury down right where people come out of the gate and just heal me and id kill teams over and over and over and i was 2h fury
its just a sad sad sad boring game
it might be cool if you play it casually i guess, but i was in highschool and had nothing better to do when i played it

PvP is waaaay better than it used to be back then haha. Far more balanced. Not that I care all that much about what he says, but even Sirlin has an article about how fun and well-executed pvp is in wow (he just didn’t agree with the gear thing. Neither do I). But yeah, I wouldn’t recommend anyone play it anything but casually.

nothing like one shotting dudes in cloth which from what ive seen is impossible now because everyone has a bajillion hp
very few things i miss…rocking fire resist gear in battlegrounds against fire mages(or using the flame reflector when someone tries to pyro blast you…sigh)
pvp in WOW was pretty fun when I did play, mind you I was a rogue so it was pretty one-sided. As soon as I hit the level cap I just sat at a spot where people hand in quests and patiently waited, good times.
Cataclysm was fun for awhile, then you realize everybody is still fucking terrible at the game so it defeats the purpose of even trying. I think i hit 85 on 4 characters in the first 2 weeks and just stopped, doing dungeons was next to impossible since it was actually relatively difficult again, mixed in with how bad people were with WOTLK… it was just a recipe for frustration and finally saying fuck this game.
Pvp was only good in vanilla. Nothing past that is even remotely entertaining.

OMFG lucky I only ordered a small amount, well don’t matter it will prob cost more then the Chun Le. The mvc2 sticks are mainly for modding anyways.
