MisguidedAngel or whomever it was that was missing the PS3 cable? it’s probably at the restaurant, whoever you talked to on the phone probably didn’t know what they were talking about, all of the leftover equipment gets put away under the seats and I doubt they checked. There was a TE stick left as well.
I managed to find myself a PS2 with HDLoader. Turns out the Japanese Darkstalkers collection isn’t compatible with it - it gets to the game loading screen and freezes everytime. The person I bought it from modded it into a fliptop so if I can find a copy of swap magic it may do what I need. Anyone here have one I can use to test this?

Story of the day: I played a lagswitching El Fuerte online today… and I won. I wouldn’t have but he insisted on going for the wall jump to splash many times… free sweeps, kind of. i’d have to react during the EPIC FREEZINGs… and of course he’d get knock downs and perfect baits and I’d be stuck in a SUPER LAGGY FUERTE VORTEX. Managed to clutch it out though…

So I just helped my friend get the C achievement on PS3. Over the last few months I’ve been doing the lion’s share of the characters. So I’ve done this achievement twice now. I’m crazy.
Afterwards, I played some matches as Abel just to have some fun, and I played like 7 in a row against a 0-bar (fully red) Ryu player from somewhere in the States who had jab on turbo every time I got near him. I beat him 6 times in a row though, ultraing through fireballs in most matches (I would input ultra as soon as I saw his hands move, and the ultra would come out after the fireball had traveled 3/4 screen… but it would still work :lol:)
Getting rid of st.lp is a tough pill to swallow, hb nerf doesn’t make sense except when people are too dumb to punish it, and like 40 pts of damage off the ultra? I have seen vids of sf4 vanilla and been completely surprised when it actually kills people

Are you sure about this? I’m pretty sure in the videos shown X-Factor stops the life drain but doesn’t regenerate it. She does, however, keep DP mode when you tag her out and her assist get the DP bonus. The same goes for characters like Arthur in his Super Armor mode or if you nail Joe’s slow super the slow status still effects them if they are tagged out and called on for an assist. I find that part to the game interesting.
Sorry. I guess I misread SethK’s response. He mentions that Phoenix doesn’t get a unique buff from x-factor… meaning that every other character does? I thought he meant the speed bonus/red life regeneration/damage bonus, but those aren’t unique as they are available to every character.

Mega Man Legends 3 and a gagillion other things! Looks to be one hell of a system… But like all nintendo consoles from the past decade it will probably stop releasing notable games after the first year :(. Though the Wii had quite a year for platforming games in 2010…
