Arg is pretty frustrating to play against, because he’s a huge turtle. His character ability sucks 2 life out of you each turn, and he’s excellent at blocking, so he tries to prolong the game. He’s an interesting character, though. Rook is bipolar like most grapplers. He has his excellent matches and his terrible matches, but somehow comes up roughly even in the end. The best and worst matchups in the game tend to involve Rook in some way.
Also, that’s great. If you can get me 20-30% off this game, I’ll definitely owe you one. I called SB a few days ago and they said they’re “trying to get it from their distributor” but it would probably be another few weeks. If you hear that they get the game in, let me know! I don’t have contacts there like you seem to and calling every few days is pretty lame, too.

greg there’s a video review of arthur’s moveset on the front page. no dashes, can’t air-manipulate him during superjump, bottle doesn’t cause flames if it hits their head on the way down, but maintains gold armor if you tag him out. also has an amazing looking jump E (the downward facing lance) that stays out the entire jump arc. gold armor breaks after about 10 seconds on the game clock (longer than actual seconds).
Mine was terrifying because I didn’t do enough research on it. This video shows how to do it properly. Must watch for anyone considering it. Don’t make the mistake that I made.

on a low heat cooking it for 25 minutes
make sure it doesnt bubble otherwise ure burning the THC
if u use butter it wont work because the butter burns too easily
Blueshift is temporarily shut down until mid February. Under Edmonton law, they are not allowed to be open because of the drastic renovations they are making to their Venue. Construction is being done from the inside.
A health inspector came into their store earlier this week and informed them of this and they were to shut down immediately.
I will post up the next Fighting game tournament as soon as a venue is secured.

Puzzle Strike is an okay game, I just tried it out with my gf, my friend’s wife, and my other friend. It’s odd playing Puzzle Fighter on the table with a whole bunch of skills. I do play a lot of Yomi as well, and I can definitely say that Rook is a great character. I like using Setsuki and Valerie myself.

Gold armour seems like a serious risk… like instant death when it runs out risky. Might be a great super to DHC into though? Looks like he recovers instantly.
