Chris’s last one, Ryu’s last one (donkey kick wall bounce, WHICH SIDE ARE THEY GONNA LAND ON most of the time grrrr), and right now I can’t beat Storm’s last one are really bothersome. Dante’s got a tricky one too. Havin fun doing them though. I’m kinda salty lol, mvc3 and ssf4 execution are just not the same. i have some wtf moments figuring out how to switch my fingers around to call assists at the same time as moves lol. not like street fighter at all.

To Killey: I’ve only been to Akiba Hey so far. I plan on going to Club Sega Shinjuku and Game Safari in Ikebukuro (where Mago, Daigo etc play) at some point in the near future. I haven’t seen many Makotos, but there are Fei, Yun, and Vipers everywhere. Still lots of Ryus. I think Guile is still quite good, he can do everything he used to be able to do, it just hurts a little less now, though he’s still frustrating to play against.
It’s hard to explain just how good people are here, though. You can run into a guy with like very little BP and under 50% win rate, but you have to play your best game to win. There were a few Master-ranked Viper players at Hey, and you basically can’t move without getting hit by stuff. Everyone here has good execution and knows all the setups. At Hey there are 12 cabs back to back, so you can just walk down the line and watch good players all day.
I’m doing okay here. I had a 7 or 8 win streak at Hey yesterday, but they were mostly against bad players. A 20k BP Cammy stepped up and beat me at the end (though I made some mistakes in the final round, probably should have won). But it’s really an eye-opener to think about how good Daigo/Mago/Tokido are, if they can beat these low-ranked Master “scrubs” with 85% success rate and I might win 1 in 5, if that.
At Hey yesterday, I saw Master (or near-Master) ranked players for these characters: Abel, Guile, Viper (x3), Rufus, Adon, Sakura. There was a Ryu and a Gouki player who didn’t have cards, but were also very good.
how much are games there Infil? I plan on going there soon and want to hit up all these places too. You’ll have to shoot some recommendations for me!
All arcades on Akihabara are pretty expensive and dont underestimate anybody regardless of gender and age. lol

I just created a B team that is actually pretty sick. Joe/Deadpool/Tron, all characters require some pretty niche execution so I think I’m going to have fun figuring this out. Joe is godlike on point if played right (his square jump is insane), Tron has probably the best assist in the game for safety since his life is ass, and her combos are fun to do, and deadpool is deadpool.
As far as team chemistry goes they all do really well together too. Deadpool does OTG assist and Tron saves my ass, and they all DHC into eachother effortlessly (although you need decent timing with tron)
Getting big damage with Joe is hard though, but his mixup is insane and his projectiles are pretty damned beefy.
Didn’t think I’d be playing Joe OR Tron in this game but they’re both pretty cool actually.
EDIT: Derryk I will be getting home around 5 tomorrow, what time do you get off work? You should come down and I’ll yell at you to get better. There are so many flaws in almost every aspect of your game so let’s FLUSH THEM OUT!
