I think you’re looking at it from a game with 10 characters… from that point of view, yeah, Wesker isn’t crazy overpowered or anything. I’m also not saying that Wesker is the best overall either (I think Zero is better for example), but I will say he is definitely the O.Sagat of the game (along with perhaps wolvie?) Dead simple stuff that’s freakin’ awesome, massive amount is gimme’s and derps, super-easy but effective mixups (especially on incoming characters), all the options you need and more, fits on any team, awesome asists, etc. I just think it’s shit game design where one of the most basic characters is also one of the best.

The guy should have some weaknesses, and no, I don’t think not-being-able-to-hit-people-super-jumping-a-fullscreen-away is a real weakness. Maybe something like 800K or less health, and get rid of the command throw (or at least put some wicked recovery on it)? I think the mid-to-lower tiers are actually pretty balanced, it’s just the top guys with a gazillion options/swords/teleports and safe stuff make it seem ridiculous… Wesker probably gets the most hate out of them though because of how derpy he is (wolvie too).

For ten days (starting yesterday) selected top apps will be on sale for 10 cents each with new apps every day. Some of these are too cheap to pass up. I think yesterday’s apps are still on sale too

i do a lot of reading of random shit like stellar nucleosynthesis and philosophy(i’m reading the ethics by spinoza right now) and the only conclusion i’ve come to is that our place in this universe is something we will never know because we aren’t built with the capacity to understand the “why”. its a huge interconnected system with just too many moving parts for us to ever comprehend(aside from the small chance of our species living and advancing for hundreds of thousands or even millions of years)

to this end i think that we are for whatever reason granted brief existance in this infinite machine for one reason and one reason only - to enjoy the time you have and to spend it with people you enjoy doing what you enjoy. to be free of conflict as much as possible and to help others, as everyone working together makes everyone’s time here more enjoyable

life is the greatest gift in the observable universe. from the heights of concience(being human, the ability to reason and shape your environment), to the most simple of amoebas, we’re all in this slice of time together. simply enjoying this gift is the meaning of life, to me
