better players definitely stack the deck in their favor at the character select screen. in Ultimate you can do that by picking from more characters than you could in vanilla. the game has improved in that respect a lot, at least.

and the game definitely is all about the cheapness. incredible mindblowing cheapness.

it’s -17 on block (until 2012 I guess) I dunno if hawk can punish that cuz it may be out of range. But keep in mind that I have to charge q-bomb for at least 4 seconds before I can use it. So diligent blocking and walking me to the corner will pay off. SPD damage>>>a couple q-bomb chips.

Didn’t realize the charge was that long! I guess that means I just need to be more patient… ugh, I hate being patient.

I’ve resolved not to play against Wesker anymore. It really is to the point where I have less than zero respect for anyone who mains him. Shit is just not cool anymore and I refuse to even give anyone the satisfaction of playing against them if they have to stoop that low. You’re really just making the game complete shit for everyone and once it dies for good you’ll only have yourselves to blame.

So I guess that essentially means I give up competitive Ultimate entirely. It’s really not worth the aggravation.

Fuck Capcom , they’ve lost their way.

only common for PC afaik
Dell, HP, Samsung all make them. you can get 1920x1200 in 24" usually. then 27" are 2560x1440, 30" are 2560x1600" typically

once you get into these monitors they are more for professional design work than casual users so they are all really expensive. usually have 14-15ms of lag instead of <2ms like the Asus monitors a lot of us have. but they look way better, colors are much more vibrant and accurate. backlights are usually more even. shadows more detailed

the only ones you can get locally in stores are the Samsungs from Memory Express, 24" and 27". HP (ZR series) & Dell (UltraSharp) you both have to order online direct from them. If you are looking for TVs… dunno.

I dont think its practical to get ultra high definition for TV’s yet
i came across a 4k projector from Sony costing a whopping for 25k
not including whatever feeds it for 65k

i was just looking into them no point buying one if no games support them

i wish i had one for work though Autocad in an ultra high def screen would be welcomed
