Keeperjin only works on a crouching opponent, so it’s hard to set up. It’s also extremely difficult. You kara HP with MP over and over again.

But yeah, IMO Genei-jin in SSF4 looks a lot like it did in 3s, except for the post-GJ juggles. They did a good job with it.

True Keeperjin mixes between stand fierce and low short (forward, maybe). But the HP loop does more damage (I think) and is effectively the same idea as Keeperjin so I think people who try it will do the HP loop version now.
Im sure my avoid % is pretty up there. Everyone hates fuerte.
Keeperjin is kara st.strong~far st.fierce, cr.forward. It’s pretty spacing dependent and very difficult to do. Hardest Genei-jin combo tho is kara palms. You have to actually double kara for it to work. Empty st.strong, cancelled into empty st.short cancelled into palm. The combo itself doesnt look very impressive but it does a shitton of damage and its ridiculously hard to do.
If I remember right, in evo2k2 the USA did a 5v5 against Japan round robin style. Tokido was stylin’ on everybody with Urien Aegis unblockables and then Mester was the first person to show the strength of Genei-Jin with karapalms.

the only thing they can do to make up MODOK’s appearance in the game is by putting in Dhalsim and Mr. Fantastic for some stretchy battle goodness. Let us settle who would win, yoga or gamma radiation power. amirite?
Also… i REALLY want those slick Fathead decals if I pre-order. Those would be so awesome for a custom cab / stick.
Question is, will they include it in my acquired swag if I pre-order the special edition?! or do I just get what comes with it

There’s a bunch of other Marvel characters they could have used to control space and zone like Modok. MODOK is just a troll character. I’m making it my personal goal to try and crush MODOK as quickly as possible whenever I have to face him. The rest of the person’s team can be fine but if there’s MODOK I must destroy him first. I hope I can double snap back into infiinte would also seem really useful against Phoenix.
FFWD a year to when everyone plays MODOK because he’s a beast.
MvC3 looks like shit (Yeah, haters gonna hate etc) but watching that stream last night had me rolling with how fucking retarded MODOK looks. Pro character is Pro.

as for modok i’m gonna learn him right away as hes one of the more interesting projectile/keepaway chars so far(arthurs design is totally unapealing to me, but im holding all reservations till i get a chance to try it all out) but i’m not sure how it’ll make my final team look
after seeing pheonix i’m leaning towards her, storm and trish as a team, but having said that i’m gonna play teams that have good synergy and functionality rather than just chars i like
