Yo don’t use a pad. Save yourself the pain and suffering. People can do anything on pad though. Wolfkrone and Ryuga are 2 pad players who can do all of her stuff on pad. I can actually do pretty much everything on a pad also, but not like I can on a stick. Really low bks are one thing that I just don’t see how they do that crap on pad.

As far as fierce punch goes you can use it anytime really. No Ryu will sit there and throw out pokes without stopping. Wait for a pause and try to beat whatever you think he will throw out next with a cr hp. The same is true for any poke in general for any character. That’s just the general concept of footsies.

Any benefit to using aa hp tk to back + hk, saw kindevu do it. Is it only combo’able after juggling with the tk at near the peak of their jump?

I noticed you could cancel the first few frames of far s.HP into any special. Any particular use for this?

I kara ex seismo with this move. There’s no reason for it though. It’s just something to do.

I can’t get the HJC BK’s to work right. Half of the time I’ll just get a stationary HJC BK. A quarter of the time I’ll just HJ straight up. It makes no sense since I practice with input display and UF is always on there. The last quarter of the time it actually works correctly. I have an easier time doing feint combos than this.

P.S. If anyone answers this on the 82 page of a thread than this forum is unbelievably helpful!

Are you talking about regular super jump cancelled BK like after a Seismo to juggle? I do mine like this: :qcf::uf::qcb:+:k:

I was talking about the crossup one. Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I’m going to try yours anyway though. Maybe I’ll get those BK’s to connect from full screen for a change. It goes like :qcb::uf:+:k:. Or at least thats what it says in the sticky. I usually get a cool looking low one but it just drops straight down no matter what kick button I use. When what I’m aiming for is a crossup or just one that goes forward. On another note how do you guys do do the regular HJC BK after a Seismic Hammer? Not that I can’t do it I’m just wonder if most use the input Ryuga posted or the one in the sticky.

what seismo strongs can’t be jumped??
some times i use strong seismo >fierce seismo but some guys can jump in i am doing something wrong?

Nope, I think all Seismos can be jumped inbetween unless it’s an Ex Seismo. So if you did regular Seismo to Ex Seismo, they’d get tagged if they tried to jump.

Quick viper question. I just learned how to jump cancel (not sjc) -> flame kick and cross up piont blank. Does this work on Sagat? My execution isn’t 100% yet, but it seemed like he was too big to get over:sad:

If you jump over any character from point blank and quickly do a medium or hard Burning Kick, you should cross them up with the BK. I believe it works on everyone. Like everything with Viper though, it might just be a matter of timing.

In order to get over him, delay your button press so that you are slightly higher in the air before doing the BK. The stick motions are the same. e.g. 2149+kick or 2149+delayedkick will give you BKs at slightly different heights.
