So the most damage I could get with Viper using 1 assist and 1 Hyper Combo was 901Kish ~. This game is so depressing…I think vanilla was/is the better game…regardless of the need improvements (TACs I’m looking at you!). Either way with a DHC I was able to break 1.1 mil (With some mashing of course). I can probably optimize this combo even more but I don’t think thats necessary (seeing as how it kills all the important characters).

Thats right! My Viper/Vergil combo can get 1.3Million off of slightly more than 1.5bar with Doom assist.

Are you saying that that’s what you got with one meter, or one hypercombo? As in, did you use EX at all? If you didn’t use EX, and only used one hyper combo, that’s actually really good!

@Threesided: Yeah I only used one meter for a hyper combo, no EX was used in that what so ever. I want to find a use for her jump cancel laser but I’m running thin on ideas :frowning:

How come it is very difficult to continue viper combos towards the end? I have trouble linking sj.H to dj. H S. I have trouble hitting the 800,000 damage mark. Can you guys help me. Is it just a short frame link? Im trying to do triple relaunch with EX moves involved. I’m playing Ultimate btw.

Pretty sure the hitstun deterioration is to much. You can only relaunch with EX burnkick once.

im running viper/vergil/dante and im having trouble breaking 910,000 while only using two meters. cM, Mthunder feint, cM, cH, Mthunder feint, cM, cH, S, Lseismo, jH + vergil rapid slash, djH, jS, (vergil hits), IAD HS, M,H,S, jH, djH, djS, jam session ender, burst time, DHC to dimension slash does like 910. if you choose to use an EXBK somewhere towards the end then the damage is very similar before the DHC. I just want a reliable 950k, 2 meter, combo with this team. Gonna try to get 3 thunder cancels by using the feint on an airborne victim as some people have posted. anybody got any crazy combos with this team?

You never DHC to dimension slash. You DHC to summoned swords and do all sorts of sexy extensions which add 350K and build back one meter.

In my limited testing when I played Vergil for one day I came to the conclusion you will always get that you always get more damage from 623A+B, 623B, 623B, 623B, 6C, 623B than off of 236A+B. Even if you screw up and only get 2 623Bs it’s already better.

Well I’m trying to do combos that were posted on this thread such as onikage combo but getting that extra relaunch is so hard. My attacks whiff. You say its hitstun deterioration? What attacks of viper creates lots of hitstun deterioration? Do assists add alot to it? I thought she played like dante. Every time I try to extend the combo I don’t have time for the extra relaunch.

Edit: Does she need to super jump cancel her seismos to extend combos like tiger knee tk or bk? I see notations here and they don’t have that. I thought she played like sf4. I know she needs it for meterless fadc.

God I feel stupid for never trying to DHC to Spiral Swords. Especially since when Viper is on point for my team, Vergil is in DT 99% of the time. Just goes to show, YOU GOTTA TEST EVERYTHING.

I was accustomed to it for playing Viper/Dante before I tried his devil trigger first then found that Swords did more damage.

Well sure, but it’s indicative of bad habits on my part. I just ‘settled’ on Dimension Slash for DHC and never bothered to test anything else. Need to re-think my lab time.

Sweet, know I get around 1.08 mil with summoned swords DHC. just about meter neutral too
