Chaining Seismo’s is good and all, but it’s really not that important. People get really hung up on rapid Seismos because they thing they are key.
Viper’s Best tool, is just a single correct Seismo.
Us viper players aren’t big on TAC. It may have become more useful in ultimate, but Vipes does so much damage by herself that she can kill many characters in a single BnB, adding DHC’s to add even more damage. And it’s all guaranteed, unlike TAC stuff.
TAC always sucks. Why? Because it’s dumb luck, and anything that will or won’t work based on random chance is garbage. If I wanted that crap I’d play Phoenix Wright.
Alright … what if instead of TAC, just went into s.623L xx s.214AA?
That would pretty much be our assistless 1 meter BnB. But if you do have assists, you’re better off doing relaunches. A good assisted BnB gets 900,000 damage with 1 meter, plus more with DHCs. Currently, not calculating meter gain, I can 1 touch Thor using 4 bars.

Hi guys, I’m new to the UMvC3 series.
So far I only know how to do corner combos because I don’t know how to OTG or how to do those things where viper can lift the opponent up off the ground after as landing a combo.
Currently the only one I know is (corner): c.LMHS (air) j.MMH j.MMHS, then I do a level 1 hyper. It’s about 450k.
If anyone can teach me the inputs of doing a midscreen combo I would gladly appreciate it.
No offense, but Viper is a really bad place to start at your skill level. You should play some other characters, look at mission mode, and get a grasp on the game before you really try to make Viper work.

As for notations, you just do her assisted BnB’s and then DHC. Bang, instant meter neutral death off a throw.
What’s the assisted bnb with Dante/Sentinel? I’m barely breaking 550 off a throw so far(1 meter used)
I don’t really know to be honest. I know the assisted BnB with Sent isn’t very good, and Dante works differently in Ultimate, Maybe they changed stuff alot. I haven’t spent a whole lot of time on Viper so far. I’ll hit the lab tonight or tomorrow and give you a more complete answer.

can u set up unblockables with viper burn kick assist?
Yep. It’s a slow assist though, and has no invulnerability, so you have to be careful. Your opponent can see it coming from a mile away. But if your point character has some sort of long-range low attack, like a slide kick or sword cr. attack, it can be cool to pull off unblockables from a distance.
