@wonderswan: everyone knows viper has bad match up dude, but it isn’t as though she has zero options. Its not like there is anything your opponent can do that can keep you from playing the game. If your really getting shut down so hard that you seriously believe there isn’t anything you can do than yes I’d say your probably being really lazy. I see a handful of viper players who can win these matches through hard work and resolve and mad viper players in the forums who never make it that far but want to call other people scrubs for pointing out facts. Yeah the top players complain about these matches too, but they also work hard to overcome the obstacles. I play viper cause she’s hard. I like the hard match ups and I still learn new things every day using her. it isn’t just optimism.

in AE did they fix the problem when the Ultra seismo connects you would get one or two flip flame kicks and the opponent would drop out of the ultra for the punish? That shit is annoying sometimes. Or is it left in as a legitimate hitbox/spacing error on our part?

with almost everyone thinking viper is top tier now and all the characters that does well against her getting nerfed, she too will end up like honda, with the nerf hammer coming after her.
both viper and honda were considered trash when vanilla sf4 was first released, then got progressively better as time go on.
neither of them changed much in ssf4 console but since everyone complained about honda being too good, look how badly hes nerfed in ssf4ae. just like honda in ssfiv console, people are already complaining about viper doing big soviet damage in ssf4ae.
They better never make another sf4. Seriously. I liked sf4, I hate super, still haven’t played AE but it looks a lot more interesting so far. Everyone would get nerfed like crazy.
