C-Ken vs A-Sakura who wins?

its like its hard to use rc cause rc fireball you HAVE to make sure that it connects cause if it dont then hes gonna roll and rape her or rc hk doesnt give her an advantage cause your pretty much right back at square with no momentum shift. ken can hurt her real hard real fast.

but you know what, im stupid, i should mk hurricane kick cause my dumbass is used to doing the hk hurricane kick against the cpu

if i knock down ken and cross up and try c.lk, dp will fuck me up bad and i think ken is totally safe, BUT if sak is standing close to him when he does his dp and you block, i THINK (hope to god) with meter you can shoshosho, but i think that you have to stand and not crouch, gotta be careful of ken’s c.short

only use RC fireball when someone is getting up… what totally safe is is close hp xx mp fireball… it comboes, builds meter, and if he blocks he cant do shit =)

mk hurricane is best though yea i think with medium-sized chars…

i think its also needed for sakplayers to know how to lp, lp, activate, roundhouse xx shoshosho

coz thats what youre aiming for… shoshosho… and lets just hoe that jab comes in? =/ pretty tough matchup imo, never played against a really good c-ken… but i did against ryu’s… and with ppl who know how to do psychic shinshoryukens X_x now thats painful

uh, you can easily build meter with jump back dive kicks… ken can’t catch that very easily

if he tries to jump fierce you out of dive kick just don’t do the dive kick and hit him out of the air… basically… sak is more scary with meter than ken since she has so many more opportunities to hit him with the custom.

DooM- if you do short short short shoryuken with sak and they quick get up, YOU CAN PUNISH IT EASILY. just walk forward and do standing short, shoryuken again.

so yeah, i think sak wins this matchup because you really don’t have to think with her as much to win as ken does. Ken has to try to counterpoke with his s. rh and runs the risk of sak rolling through and getting a free combo. Sak can s. rh counterpoke and poke all day and doesn’t have to worry about ken’s slow ass roll. Right there is the first reason sak has an easier time. Second, c-ken builds meter slower and needs to be up close to make good use of it (although low forward into kick super is pretty good with him)… Sak builds meter faster and can activate anytime ken whiffs rc kick/s. rh/roll/fireball/etc.

Daigo probably switched out chun for ken vs. a-sak because chun does horrible against sakura. It’s extraordinarily hard to counter poke sakura’s s. rh with chun s. strong since there isn’t much recovery. Sakura can anti-air chun at any range, and chun gets mixed up when she gets knocked down (she can rc lightning legs, but if sakura blocks it she gets free short short uppercut).

kcxj- ken jumping jab is better then jumping short. especially against certain characters like blanka that have problems anti-airing it.

Sakura counters chun, Diago wasnt using ken at last years sbo, he only recently after evo picked up ken as a starter.

ok good advice form uc and doom but here another question,

i thought about it and i dont think that using a meter for an anti air custom is worth it than a ground custom, what do you guys think?

It’s worth it if your opponent is low on life and you’re even lower.

i use the lvl 2 ground super when they jump in, hit 3 times then roll upercut after it u can some nice crossup oppertunities.

madman… its like the japanese announcer said in SBO1 (super battle opera if you dont know it)

he saimd bladiblah… something japanese i dunno… but it meant: ā€œit doesnt matter if the custom is high damage, its important that you hit himā€

that was while tokido vs daigo… finals and tokido was airCCing him with sak… too good…

good point, good shit.

im just concered about killing him as powerful and quickly as possible, but it makes sense not to rush it to fast.

c.mp and s.lk with ken…

im outi
