Yeah I don’t have that information. I don’t even know who entered… It was basically run as a side tourny in the end even though it was an official tourny. And low tier WAS a side tourny so I def don’t have that info.
Great tourney and good showings for a lot of the Columbus people. Hearty congrats to Wolfkrone and his awesome display of Viper in SF4. Lost some table space and sit-down room this time but made up for it with the setups so that’s fine.

Tekken is already on Tonamento. Only Damdai can add results after the fact unless the bracket was run in the exact layout that Tonamento gives. Even then adding old tournaments in this manner is discouraged.
A results thread will be posted soon. Most of the cbus kids had a real long night after the tourny. I don’t really have time to do it right now cause I have to study.

The four of us are going to be reshaping the Columbus scene, and for that to happen, you fuckers are gonna have to step it up.
If not, that’s fine, 4 people and connectivity to the rest of the nation is plenty for leveling up. Just look at Michigan.
But there’s nothing worse than dinosaurs wishing they were OGs and new school thinking they’re too busy to graduate, holding everyone back from progress.
The fact that I placed highest out of everyone in Cbus when I have done nothing but move from CA, play maybe 20 minutes at home, come over to gatherings and streak on all y’all for free is pitiful. I was the only dude who goes to Brent’s that placed Top 8. Only 1 of 2 Columbus players in general in Top 8. I’m a 19 year old who works almost 40 hours a week, has a live-in girlfriend to spend a great deal of time with and is studying for MCATs so that I can start to make my way through medical school. Pitiful.
But hey at least you got to take home 50 cents for Melty/TVC 1st place winnings, don’t spend it all in one place. Don’t take this the wrong way, I see a lot of potential in certain players, and I want to help you get beastly and actually win; actually have the attitude of a good player. Props to Tony for straight up sitting down in front of me and asking exactly what to do in a certain matchup, much respect for that. Props to everyone who wants to get better and who is or isn’t vocal about it and now knows where and who to go to, and a big middle finger to the rest of you in your Salvation Army uniforms passing out blank checks to out-of-towners because you think you’re too good for a game or for practice.
Oh and yeah, I mad.
I think it just has to do with the fact that not too many people around here are serious about sf4 besides, you, me, san, clint,tony and maybe sean and few others. Hopefully with the release of ssf4 will actually help the community accept SF4 series as a legit series instead of a dumbed down version of it’s previous incarnation.
I understand how you feel. I don’t like Michigan taking our money either. I placed 2nd at the first cbus bar battles and gave Alucard a run for his money. After placing 7th in the 2nd bar battle, I’m sorely dissapointed knowing I can take at least the top 3. Columbus can level up, it just that alot of us dont have the resource and the time. Like you, I’m busy as shit also, OSU engineering school with 2 jobs and gf. Plus I don’t even have xbox360 anymore to play on. So literally I only played SF4 prolly about 5x in the past 4 months. I only went to Brent’s to warm up on friday a bit before the tourney on saturday. Other than that, I can’t come usually. I def know i can help you guys level up easily if i come regularly, I wish I can, but i can’t. Moses is also another example, he has to tutor like 30+ people in many different languages and got a wife. He’s really good at alot of games, but he choose not to take sf4 seriously.
I still have to hold you on to our money match. The tourney ran out too late for me to MM anybody, I had to go back to my gf and study for my midterm. I will play you next time i see you around. If you dont know who I am, i’m that asian guy who plays pad gief and tried to study in between matches.
