i’d like to know full properties on bolts of balthak. startup, recovery, special cancellable on both hits?, how many frames of advantage on stagger hit, durability, etc.
also, full properties on L mystic sword. whatever the guide offers.
also, hit recovery on rings of raggador. i just wanna know if it can be followed up with SoV.

Bolts of balthak is a command normal that puts a huge screen filling double projectile on the screen so if it’s anything like hidden missiles command normal with Doom the cancelling properites may be a bit limited. I hope it’s something where you can like call assists and cancel into at least supers during it but we’ll see.

I think those moves count as specials.

For some reason I thought bolts were back+M. I remember thinking it was an utterly bizarre input.
LOL. So I called some local GameStops to see if they would be getting the guide early. Of course of all the stores I’ve called so far only one picked up and I got this on the phone.

Ya never know whether to feel bad for or hate the folks that work at gamestop.
LOL. I hate anybody that tries to sell me mainstream FPS or American Football game. Whether they work at GameStop or not. They usually happen to work there though.
I finally got in touch with another lady from a store about 30 minutes out and she said “they didn’t have it yet but call back around noon when they get shipments in”. Sounds like a professional way of saying “I don’t know” but I’ll call again and see.
Otherwise I’ll just hold off till release day and see the other stuff people post that got it early.
If all goes well I will have the game on Friday.
and since I brought Sonic gens and batman arkham city to pass the time, friday will come pretty fast.

I post every now and then since I’ve registered in 2007. You’ve posted a ton since you registered this year. That does not mean you are “more active” than I or even “more qualified”. In fact, you often add posts with no value which is not a tolerated action on the Shoryuken forums.
There have been no problems with the threads I have made, and there is no reason for another person to remake them.
Just because you wanted to make the thread first doesn’t mean you should come into my threads yelling for them to be locked.

you should know though that it’s almost pointless at this point to make the combo threads without consideration for those people who will be maining the characters and despite you apparently “knowing the most” at this point just because you played them. I’m going to be making the Strange 2.0 thread with Karst’s template, which will include everything from matchups to combos. maintain your thread if you want, but I’m gonna be the one to do the 2.0 thread even if it’s a lot of work.
I’d call you out for you posting the Frank/RR threads pre-character trailers and being infracted for it, but whatever. I’m not gonna go there. have some consideration. that’s all I want to say.
edit: I’m curious though, what about me “often [adding] posts with no value”? I’m looking through my posts and a substantial amount are discussions on pre-release character theory and the like. y’know, besides compiling data on Strange and contributing to the discussion in this thread right here.
