That’s not the problem, I have a couple, its been the wiring/afixing the wire to the LED. Granted I took a 5mm and shaved it down to fit in a bubble top last time, I havne’t tried it on the balls I’ve gotten from you. But last time I actually twisted the LEF off and it got stuck inside the balltop. I haven’t ordered anything from Digikey despite Toodles co-sign - in part because I don’t wnat to place an order for a singular LED…it feels kinda silly. And I think they wanted a minimum order when I tried last time (could be another website htough not sure its a been a while).

Digikey will allow you to order a single led. They are more than bright enough. To solder the wires to the led I break the legs off and solder to the base of the post that comes out of the led. The 3mm require zero effort to fit in the tops too!
