See this is where the concept of justification comes in. Meaning, using this concept to make reasonable the decision to take advantage of another, or punish someone etc. etc.
This is usually done by giving something, someone, or an idea high value and usually create a concept that revolves around that specific thing. This in turn alleviates guilt from the mind of an individual, once he believes or works himself that his actions are “justfified”
The perfect example of this is the current battle over abortion. When an individual has an abortion, to alleviate guilt from it, she will justify what she’s doing. How does this go about? There’s something of value that she sees is in danger of being violated ( usually her own life) so using this she justifies what she has done.
It is a shame your mother never felt that guilt during your gestation.
There’s nothing more valuable to any one person than their own existence, and absolutely no one has the right to take that from them unless it is to protect themselves. It’s as simple as that.

Because they hold their religion and make it of great value, so they make a concept of justice that surrounds their religion.
