strange what 1 frame of lag can cause…
before he changed it to 3 he never got hit by ex hazanshu, after the change he could beat it like twice…
I expected a big difference between 5 frames (usf4) and 8 (sfv). But 1 frame alone having this impact…
Wow, he really doesn’t know how to keep things short and precise.
Aside from how fucking dull it was to watch him play for two minutes before I turned off, I definitely agree that it sucks big-time with the input lag and it’s ludicrous to have that in a fighting game like SFV.
I think it’s really illogical of Capcom to not rectify this immediately but rather wait until the CPT-season is over.
Bison dashing in with his ugly smile and kneeing me in the face is just about the worst set-play I’ve ever fallen victim to a bajillion times in a row.
The test from the displaylag’s guy doesnt means that much, and he makes it clear that is just something he did out of curiosity to check the last update, its not very trustable. The real test will be the one with the LED.
No, I post here sometimes when there’s something I want to talk about. For some reason you stalk me. And id rather you not because you never make any good points, it just comes off like you wanna talk to me or put yourself above me or something It’s weird.
And I have no problem with anyone who wants to discuss things but I don’t deal with intellectual scrubs.
As for you. You’re one of those flies who hovers around a pile of shit. That “discussion” was 5 months ago.
You know what I remember you posting about 5 months ago? You know what I remember you posting 5 minutes ago. What I remember you posting ever? Nothing, because you’re worthless.
By the way I did not mean to post 3 times. If someone could delete the two posts above this one please do, SRK and mobile don’t mix.
And since apparently capcom trolled me and there was no frame reduction, I’ll continue to ignore this game
I friend of mine whos very sensitive to input lag said me that the overall input lag of the game decreased, it was not just an equalization between the different systems. I went into training mode and noticed the same thing: my jump ins were whiffing at all, they were becoming inactive before to reach the opponent. Does anyone else noticed that?
I’ll try the game out next week. One and a half frames is a lot, that takes us down to 6 frames, which IIRC is equivalent to the PS3 version of SFIV.
If true, to me that puts the game at the level of “acceptable”. So I’m really excited about that and if the play is satisfactory to me then I might be diving head first into SFV. I’ve always said there is a fantastic game here underneath the unacceptable lag and poor hit/hurt boxes.
I was playing this past weekend and my timing on stuff felt a bit off. I was doing moves too early during like recovery frames or while in block stun, and nothing was coming out. Now that could also be due to me not playing the game in like over a month, but I typically won’t have that happen to me all night and maybe the first match or two, but this was happening pretty much all night. Not sure if that was me compensating for the lag I’m used to, which wasn’t there anymore, or if it’s just that I suck. Probably the latter.
I thought you had to round the frames or whatever. Like before it was 7.3 (?) frames of lag, rounded up to 8F. If it’s 6.5 now, should we be calling it 7F of input lag?
So, I’ve lost almost 1500 points yesterday.
Starting to think that I am even worse than I thought and that all ps4 guys are reacting better to things :).
They added a lot more recovery frames on many moves, so what your feeling is the slower pace of the game from greater recovery on most everything. Fchamp said the game felt much slower at PSX, like it had been slowed down. The game is slower now by design than season 1 because of added frames on startup and recovery of moves now. There is an article up about this actually at another site.
