Yeah, worth noting that they only stay there for a week after the broadcast.
Once the bar is running(cause really, all my eggs are in this basket atm) I’ll have more financial security and plan to buy several more capture/recording devices so we can do multi-streaming of different stations and on-site permanent(or near to) recordings. For now it’s a compromise, you can google “How to save a youtube video” or “Flash video” and learn how to save the streamed files off Justin.tv if there’s anything you really want to save.

Blarg, school has been kicking my ass. The only free time I’ve been able to scrape away was spent with the girl this weekend. But anyway, is anyone planning on going to the tourney in Canada this weekend? I’ll be going regardless, but having some people to split gas with would be nice. I know Brian was interested last time we talked, and there’s supposed to be a 3v3 SSF tourney. So yeah, let me know what’s good, I can squeeze 3 more in if there’s interest.
Guys hate to do it, but looks like I will have to cancel Game night here tomorrow. I got too much on my plate at work right now and the house isn’t set up or unpacked enough to really host people yet. I apologize and hope you can find a place to play tomorrow. I will most DEFINITELY be ready next week, and game night will start early that day, like 6pm.
Anyways sorry again, I will be so far behind on the Super curve, I will likely be our worst player ;(

Hey, I was referred to come here by someone I met at the Gamestop on Main St. the night of the SSF4 midnight release. I’ve been playing SF casually on/off since the release of SF4 but I wanted to get started on the tournament scene around Buffalo. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Basically we meet twice a week to game for several hours…Thursday nights and Saturday evenings. Thursdays are at someone’s house and Saturdays are up in Lewiston where one of our guys owns a not-yet-open bar/arcade. We have like 15-18 guys in the crew and 12-14 regularly play together. Thursdays are on hiatus while the guy who hosts moves into a new place, however, saturdays are open to anyone and run from about 3pm to whenever we feel like going home. If you are interested we can give you an address and such.
As for tournaments: we host one twice a year, and travel up to toronto/syracuse for a lot of their stuff. We also go to majors here or there, and have a player that placed 9th at NEC (major in philly). A few of us are going to EVO this year as well. Skills in our group these days range from mediocre XBL player to serious business. If you are just starting out don’t be too intimidated cuz we all sucked at one point. Feel free to add anyone on XBL/PSN and play em to see how you are. If you add me, my brother plays on PS3 so you’ll get some Sagat/Balrog/Akuma/anyone he feels like playing.
Anyway, welcome, and hopefully you can stick around and become a regular.

Hey Azn80, good to see more new players! We have a few guys who are just going up with us, so you won’t be the only new kid on the block.
So I played a big session with Jeff 3 last night. He’s still really good! He has good reactions and some amazing Akuma blockstrings and set ups. He said he liked Super.
I learned that Juri is a beast! I walked all over his Akuma with her.
…I also learned that Hakan is a piece of shit! He stomped my Hakan into oblivion.
One more thing - Did anyone here know that Akuma’s sweep punishes a fierce Honda headbutt on block? I had never read about that or ever seen it in a match vid. I need to test if that worked in SF4. It changed a huge part of my gameplan.
