lol@chris. we always freestyle rides to the barcade, it ain’t like we goin to a tournament. plus my cars busted and won’t pass inspection / too dangerous to drive according to my dad’s mechanic. gonna lease a newer vehicle soon, giving them my current one as a trade in.
good ole reliable joe pulls through as usual on that front.
anyways. barcade was good times, great to finally meet nunie after hearing so much about him. and ryan finally shows his face.
also ssf4 has arcade release in japan to keep that arcade scene alive there.

In other news…Bandits games are AWESOME. We were down 4 with 1:43 left in the game and most of the people left…we came back and tied it up @ 11 but lost in OT

i brought a new guy to the barcade, his name happens to be noonie aswell and he seems like he wants to continue to show up so lets see what happens. i also told jon that i am gonna spend some time with him to try and level up his gameplay.

I work til 6 on Saturday and I’m going out at like 10-1030 for a friend’s birthday but I’ll be at UBCon as long as I can with little one in tow. I think he’ll be up there early on since my mom can drop him off. Let me know what time you’re all getting there and where gaming is at and he’ll be there with PS3 and a TV.
Summer is almost here so my social life will be less active and I won’t have as many crappy assignments to do, fear not. I haven’t forgot about you guys!

hope everyone liked my sneaky showing last night lol. it was great seeing everyone again finally. guess having a random day off work out well for me. got to spend some time with my best friends, and you guys as well. have to say my sat. was perfect. guess i wasnt that bad when i played SF4 finally offline haha. just gotta shake off the rust and get my combos back into it again.

I’d consider more options, at $9,000 you’re getting into low-end new car territory. You basically have to decide what features you consider mandatory, and whether they’re worth the cost or not, and from there you can decide whether it’s a better idea for you, to buy a nicer used car with almost no warranty left. Or a lower-end new car that will have a 10yr warranty(like a Hyundai Accent, which starts at only $9,800 for a bare car).
In your situation I’d consider the new option, your biggest issue with transportation so far has been reliability, a new car(even a crappy one), means not having to deal any fix headaches for 7-10 years. I’d say look for used models of cars with 10yr/100k warranties, but I was just looking and they’re pretty hard to find, the warranty keeps their resale value higher than is really worth considering. Plus you’d be paying for options you wouldn’t want.

Yeah Jug I’d look elsewhere…9k for a 4 year old Cobalt that has over 70k miles? Not a chance I’d touch that. My cavalier has like 64k miles and is an 02 and I haven’t had to replace much if at all…I replaced a wheel bearing last week and cost ~150 but other than that, no major work. 2010 Cobalts can’t run much more than 14k…plus you can usually have the dealer knock some of that cost off.
Point being, shit is starting to go in my car b/c of said mileage…even the shittiest car new is gonna be cheaper than buying a pricier used bc of no repairs…
