Hey Brian, I know the Syracuse tournament is coming up in a couple of weekends and I just wanted to hear what your plans are for it. I might be able to talk Nate and Adam into driving up on Friday the 10th at night. I also see that it is a two day event, do you guys have a place to crash and how much money do you expect this whole thing to cost? Lastly… what happens if they don’t get anywhere near the numbers they are expecting? Perhaps they could just throw a one day tournament?
Bonus question, if this thing falls through, can we all just hang out and play scott pilgrim? My Scott is unstoppable… thanks to the 504 dollar late fee, stupid expensive late fee.

However my one caveat is that I am only going saturday, regardless of results because I am going to the Bills game on Sunday. I totally failed thanks to poor math. Thinking that the tournament was next weekend, I told Nate that he needs to go up there, hang out with his sister, and drop me and a couple of people off. He was all for it, so this coming weekend, he is going to buffalo. As I’m sure some of you have already figured out, this coming weekend is the 4th and 5th… The good part of the story is that there is a buffalo wing festival, which I’m excited as shit for, so I may just be coming up for this and hanging out and playing games too to get everyone ready for the tournament. Then I’ll try and get someone else to head up the following weekend.
here is the details for the UB touny again for those who are still going. Not really sure where the SU Flag Room is located in the SU but if anyone can tell me that would be great.
Jon, the flag room is the open room where we had the VG room at UB con the year before last. (the open room with the flags in it…)

I had a ton of fun at barcade this Saturday and definitely want to come back again. Everyone was very friendly and cool, I even managed to win like three matches lol. Gotta sharpen my hokoto no ken skills too for next time.
Where’s the blazblue thing tomorrow? I don’t know the game at all but I kinda want to watch. And maybe some street fighting as well?

Is there anyone to whom sunday especially bad for that currently comes on saturdays? and anyone who can’t make saturdays but could come sundays?
Trying to get a tally about what is good for people well not alienating anyone(or as few as possible).
maybe you could do both days. saturday is good for me sunday is ok but i would have to leave early cuz i work early monday morning. so i may not go to this bb tourny seeing as it starts so late and i have work in the am ill let you guys know

i approve changing to sunday. but for obvious school reasons i’ll leave around 10-11.
my work schedule came out and i work monday, wednesday and saturday nights. ]= so i can’t make saturdays anymore unless i can get it changed which will be at the minimum a month later.
would it be too hard to do like- an announcement every monday deciding on day will be best for everyone? Like T11 is this saturday, since some of us (and potential Pgh guests) would be busy saturday doing that, wouldn’t maybe Sunday + an earlier start time be better?
Then next week, evaluate what is going on, the week after ec ect.
Anyone who has ever managed a large number of people with a floating schedule will tell you: It simply does not work. Well over half of the people will simply not respond to inquiries and thus the data you make these weekly choices by are completely unrepresentative.
So if we change it’s going to be a permanent(or at least a long time) change.
