My price range is like $40, I use a Sega Virtua Stick to play Fighting Games on my Saturn or the PS/PS2/PS3 with my Adapter

With Mainly a PS & SNES Connection on it…I only need like 6 buttons on it

Probably a MayFlash joystick or a used one on eBay or Craigslist might be your best bet. Or the Mini ones when they are sale by MadCatz or Hori.

if you don’t mind chaining converters…

ps2 to snes from tototek is probably best option and carry on using the virtua stick… cheap and the virtua stick (im assuming its the hss-0136) is probably better than a $40 budget stick

Has anyone ever tried those tototek Converters with a PS360+ and a PSX Cable?
I am considering to buy the PSX to SNES, PSX to Saturn and PSX to Genesis / Master System if that works out.

Mayflash and some decent parts is cheap and great.

@machomanmo - MC Chthulhu with PSX/PS2 cable to Tototek to Saturn does NOT work. Don’t know about PS360+, but I speculate it also wouldn’t work.

On the mayflash…I did a build with the original version of the Mayflash and a MK-1627 PCB, and it worked. I am doing build for a fellow SRK member now, with the Mayflash F300, and have been through 2 PCBs- one 3rd party and one Sega MK-1470. Bad produce similar results and do not work correctly. VOLDOM on these forums also reported the same experience, about 6 years ago, trying to padhack 3 different genny PCB’s.

Seems the issue lies with the custom chip on 6-button controllers, and how the genny receives that data. For whatever reason, simply wiring up some external, non original parts, causes the chip to not act correctly. That’s the best I can come up with so far, and if anybody knows anything more definitively, please share.

Just get any stick that fits your other requirements, and rewire the button connections.

Was still working for others that tried well after it expired (even earlier today) so you may want to still try.
