her 8 way air dash looks a bit on the slow side, think itll still be useful?
It may be slow but its long.
i mean do u think itll be effective for crossup and unders? or will it be too slow for a fakeout, i know its cancelable. think the best way of utilizing it is dropping ammy right atop the dead center of the opposing character so neither u nor ur opponent could fathom a guess as if its a crossup or not?
Yeah. Its not terribly slow, but I think it will be good for chasing runaway characters.
You can probably do some MvC2 Spiderman bootleg four-way crossups and resets with it, but it may be better suited for runaway purposes.
Does anyone know what ammy’s Assist(s) are?
Two of them are ice bullets. One grounded and one Air-to-ground.
The grounded one looks like a better assist, unless the air-to-ground one is an overhead then that will be good too.
I think the air to ground one would be better for trap/runaway. Its more of barrier.
Both moves just look brutal all the way through.
Looks like hitting her will be about as annoying as Viewtiful Joe. No biggie, it’s not like they are as small as Servebot was. Some pretty cool combos too. Overall, interesting character though probably not one I will use.

Ammy’s Celestrial brush Hyper combo is brutal, it’s almost instant and saved my ass plenty of times, if your not blocking or ur jabing at the moment I call it out, you may get hit by it. The last hit with the lighting strike will hit grounded opponents at the end. comboed very easily into and is fairly safe againts some characters from full screen if you can manage.

Ammy can duck under a lot of projectiles and hyper projectiles so long as it’s not to low. Some she can walk under a bit while others she has to stay duck avoiding chip damage all togeather. Avoided two of Deadpools Gun Supers in a row (masher). Think Servbot height.

Ammys Medium attack is a dash attack, goes about her character length across. I was using it to close the distance on players just holding block all day, made for getting those low attacks in easily. She’s also good and crossing you up thanks to her size, I was dashing under Doom like all day when he was decending from his air attacks waiting to launch them.
Most of this is common knowledge but this is what I got out of it due to time restraints and fighting off constant mashers that did’nt give me room to try out moves, I did’nt get as much time (As I could have thanks to the unorganized way this event was handled dispite my early arrival in line). It takes a significant time to get use to the fighting system then actually learning the characters and how they work. I was just getting the hang of the flow by match 3 but I only played 4 times. I was so use to MvC2 it was hard to break from hitting where lk would be (It is their launcher, mk and hk are the assist buttons).

I disagree. Jumping ice shoots down at a diagonal. That would instantly put a stop to wave-dashing triangle jumps.
I just saw it used more, it does look like a better assist since it tracks the opponent and puts her in a position where she won’t get interrupted.
Thought the assist would have a fixed attack in the screen.

Might be late but I saw the 3rd assist being called Solar Flare. Wasn’t shown but maybe a reflector based move. Counter or dash?
