Wow when i looked at the date I realised that today is the one-year anniversary of when i joined SRK. When I look back at how I was one year ago, its amazing. I couldn’t do 2-in-1’s, combo’s, chain combo’s, anything. My highest combo at the time was 2, I had no idea what footsie’s, zoning, links, mindgames or frametraps were, & I went even with my old local competition; plus I was a total stick novice. Now, just year later, I can actually do BnB’s, 2-in-1’s, & combo’s, I left all my old competition in the dust (perfect’s & all); plus im more comfortable with stick that I am on pad. & the funny thing is that I still have a long-ass way to go before I can actually just beat you guys. Every time I get my ass whooped by you guys, it makes me think that I’m never gonna get good. But then I look back to how I was before, & then I realise that it’s all just a steeping stone before I can be on your levels. & I owe it all to you guys. Thanks for making it a fun 2009, let’s make it an even better 2010!!
^ well good job. keep playing. ass whopping is how you learn. no one is “good” overnight. I got my fair share of ass kicking too but it was never “zomg raped!!!” because I knew how to play even before SRK existed. I used to beast on fools when alpha games were popular and evo was called “B2k” or something like that.
