Years ago… PAS no longer does gaming because their control of gaming has been taken away so fighting games are now dead at Poly. They haven’t really been alive since Will Seto left PAS (graduated). The gaming area also no longer exists and hasn’t existed for a number of years, in the recent years if someone wants to play they must do so in reserved class rooms, private dining, or lounge. In addition, public equipment no longer exists, therefore if anyone wants to game, you have to find someone to bring something in. With the current state of management in Poly, unless you play Smash or PC games or card/dominoes/board games, consider gaming to be dead. Aside from the management level, the current generation of Poly doesn’t really play fighting games (aside from random online casuals), but if you would like to learn more just stop by the PAS/PAGE office downstairs and ask.

I do remember that one tourney you ran at Poly Tech.

Eh, I found out there’s a fighting game club at my college and I tried to get involved but thanks to some people it just isn’t worth it at all. I’m sure it’s different everywhere but shit, I’d rather do something more worthwhile with my time like homework, reading a book, or fuck, even playing online.

All right guys so my annoying persistence has paid off. MVC2 has been added to the upcoming Battlefield. Which is cool but what’s better is that 3rd Strike has been added to the next one!!!

Also from now on one vintage game will be selected (not by the community atm) for future Battlefields! I will put up the link as soon as I get to a computer. So I am asking for all you 3rd Strike guys to show up. It’ll look really good and hopefully let people see that there is still a scene for them, plus you might win yourself a couple of bucks.

Oh, btw Joe that TvC tourney is next Thursday or something. Ask Apollo about it because I didn’t get the e-mail (obviously they’re scared). I don’t really care for it since I haven’t played TvC since it dropped, don’t care for the people there but most importantly I have class at that time. It’s a free $100 bucks so I don’t know, if I played it I wouldn’t pass up on that.
