Ideally a v1 imp would want to be used to reduce confusion of what state the select button functions as. You can use a v2 , but you just have to remember what state it’s in.

Would wire the select button on the stick only to the D- input on the imp. Wire 1D- to select signal on pcb. Wire 2D- to touchpad button signal on pcb. Swap if you want the default signal the other way around if using v1. Wire up the signal on the imp used to switch systems to a button you want to use for switching the mode of select. I myself would wire the select button in the stick to that, but this will require a pull up resistor.

how would this end up functioning like? hold home and plug in stick for select/share, next time you do this is touchpad?

You do not need to purchase extra buttons for the home panel.

I ordered one of these from ParadiseArcadeShop.com and they have just emailed to see if i wanted to add on the fighting board headers

I was under the impression that the board already came with these?

I ordered one of these specifically to convert my xbox fightstick pro to ps4 without any soldering.

I have emailed them to clarify and I will report back.

The picture of the board is what you get. The screw terminals will be there and they’re assuming most people will use a USB cable with a B-Type connector on it to just plug in.

Strange. I guess I will wait and see what they say.

It is an option to get pins on the LED/VCC/p1p2p3p4 etc.

Me too I only need to make my own PH connector for my TE stick round 1 from 6 pin (home panel) to 5 pin (VCC/p1p2p3p4) and 1 wire to the ground.
and the other one from 6 pin to 4 pin

Why do you need to make your own PH connector and a 6 pin to 4 pin? I really need to watch some videos on modding the stick. I’m starting to get worried its going to be a bigger job that I anticipated.

you only need to make a connector and pin headers if you absolutely dont want to solder and need extra functionality like touchpanel (button) etc… for most people the board is fine as it is, and certainly if youre not afraid of a bit of soldering.

I tested the UFB with UD-USB last night and it does not work. Once I get a couple on hand I will loan one to @undamned to see if he can adapt the firmware accordingly.

I assume so. Though my discussions with Brook seemed that they weren’t interested in doing forced modes since the auto detection worked perfectly.

The community should press Brook about this. I’m sure automatic detection will never cover all scenarios (hell, imagine a new generation of consoles many years from now and converters that expect a controller for a specific console).

Just like the PS360+ has been replaced by the UFB, something will replace the UFB then too.

I doubt a whole new board will be developed just to support forced modes lol
it would have to do a whole lot more than that
