**I replaced the buttons and joystick in my WWE Brawl Stick…unfortunately when I was removing one of the pins for the X button, it bent a bit…eventually snapping. It sill works as long as the metal is touching so luckily it works properly if I take the rubber tube and slide it down and secure them together that way…but I’m curious as to what that part is actually called? I’d like to replace it. Another part that can be replace for proper function would just as fine. **

Also, anyone with experience with this know of an easier way to remove them? I was going to swap one from one of the LT/RT buttons and put the broken one that still works there but it was rather difficult to remove.

Depends what you are referring to.

It it’s the metal part attached to the wire then that is an open barrel quick disconnect. You will need a suitable crimper to replace this properly.

If it’s the metal prong attached to the button then it can be replaced by changing the button microswitch.

It’s the silver part, where the metal clip is curled around the wire allowing it to connect to the button. (Open barrel quick disconnect as you stated.)
Any idea where to get a replacement cheap? I have a crimper…can that be used to remove it as well? (Or could I simply put a new one on top of the broken one?)

Thanks for the fast response!

Unless you have decent soldering skills then I would not recommend trying to repair a broken quick disconnect. Simply cut off the old one, strip back some wire, and crimp on a new one.

You will need an open barrel crimping tool to do it properly. Something like this:

As for the quick disconnects, try and find the JST 2.8 x 0.5mm.
