Keni, i think we gotta change the format of league matches. itâs kinda all over the place.
we should do something similar to how the Japanese (and the FFA guys) do their ranbats. have some sort of mini-tourney every week or every 2 weeks where we can all meet up somewhere. the placing in the tourney will correspond to a certain number of points and then at the end of the season, weâll tally the points and have seeds corresponding to the points earned and we can have a tourney final. something like that.

Ya⌠if we all had similar schedules then it wouldnât be a problem⌠but then some people are only free on certain days and others are only free on others⌠itâs hard to have a fair tally and the people who shows up most will automatically have a higher score?
Right now weâre about 1/10 through the season. You basically play about 10 sets of 5 games and the season is over⌠which isnât a lot. Some people are harder to contact than others⌠but weâll figure out a deadline or something.

Ya, due to hectic schedules, I think these would have to be scheduled based on the individualsâ schedules. Meaning if A wants to challenge B, A will have to contact B to set a time to play.
Of course if there are weekly or bi-weekly events, it would also be great, because that way many people can meet and play on that day. Sadly, not everybody can go to these meets due to tied up schedules. Hence I guess the thing to do is do both. Have scheduled meets, as well as individuals who contact other individuals to set a date to play.
Btw, good games last night with Keni and Cameron. Keni, itâs kinda funny how we were playing so safe that we even crouch right next to each other for like 2 seconds doing nothing but waiting⌠then time ran out in the end.

Where do these matches HAVE to take place? Can it be in any arcade or does it have to be in the division members arcades (Example: J-ZEE/Movieland, and Rush/Lesters). Also are these matches allowed to be done on consoles like PS2 and XBox?
May I suggest that they be done in the arcades though? I play on console with my bro very competitively, but we actually decided to do ranking in the arcades only. I guess to promote SF3 arcade cabs, and itâs also different playing on the cades. I guess itâs like having basketball events in a real gym vs playing in your backyard.
Are the players free to choose which arcades? Thatâs my main question. Hence a clarification of the rules would be cool to have.
Good question⌠I think if both players agree beforehand, they can play on the Neo Geo if they want⌠since the outcome affects nobody else. Hell, you can even agree on a score without playing, if you really wanted to.
just play if you dont come out to have games you dont place.
no point in casting doubt and worrying about what things wouldve been like if some people played more and ranked more. the what ifs are endless even if everyone we know of participated fully.
