cool, thanks for the advice. I didn’t know photon arrays were positive on block, are you talking about the special or the hyper?
Having both Doom projectiles and Sent projectiles backing up Nemesis is really helpful, because now if I lose one assist through my stupidity, I still have another zoning assist to work with. My spencer anchor team couldn’t have Sent die, or else I’d have to play a more rush down oriented game, which is harder for me.
Photon Array=Hyper, Photon Shot=Special
Photon Shot on the ground is -10, but Photon Array on the ground is +2.
decided to drop sent as the anchor. his assist is amazing but the handicap of having him on your team is too much. with that said nem/wes/mag is fun :]
ah, I see. thanks for the clarification.
what was your original team again? the one with Sent on anchor?
I’ll admit having Sent on a team can be a gamble, but if you’re able to get that momentum going with nemesis, that momentum will stay with you through to Sent, since they play similarly. at least, that is if you have Sent 2nd in line, rather than assist.
What are you fellow Nemesis players doing for death mixups? Im curious mostly because I’m have trouble opening up that incoming character which gives me a second kill pretty quickly.
was playing nem/wes/sent (also tried nem/sent/wes but just didnt like sent coming in second). i understand what sentinel drones bring to the table, its quite hard to call him when you have all these damn assists flying everywhere. maybe ill play it as match up dependant.
I’m pretty sure the mixup is assist causes blockstun, Nemesis stands nearby. L/M grab.
I know what you mean about calling Sent. Wesker does not help Nemesis on point outside of combos, and ONLY relying on Drones with sent can be tough. I had Spencer on my old team, and I was in a very similar situation as you were. after giving Nemesis ANOTHER projectile/ keepaway assist (doom), I can now use Drones to their full extent since Doom’s beam pushes tho opponent way back, enough to then call sent somewhat safely.
I can see Mags being a good assist for nemmy though. How much mileage do you get out of Wesker though as an assist? are you using him only for his assist, or for the whole character? if the former, I might recommend switching him with Deadpool, since his synergy with Nemesis is a little bit better IMO, and he can be used identically as Wesker as an assist (and it think it has longer range as well)
Wesker range and speed of the OTG is better, deadpool will miss sometimes in a midscreen relaunch. You can set unblockables with samurai edge on upcoming characters, so it’s not completely useless outside of combos.
at this point i play mag for his assist more than wesker. i actually like wesker, command grab is too fun.
also the deadpool synergy, the only difference i really see is that nem dhc to deadpool does a lot more damage than nem to wes. besides that i feel wesker is able to use nemesis assist better (although deadpool also has a teleport).
If you want an OTG, use Wesker. If you want a better unblockable setup, use Deadpool. If you want a better DHC, use Deadpool. If you want ZOMGWTF Anchor power, use Wesker. If you want counterpick power, use Deadpool. If you have a character you don’t know quite what your doing with, use Wesker.
It’s really about what you want.

After re-editing and fixing so much, finito.
lololol, Nemmy is in love with Hsien-ko xDDD
awesome video.
Oooooh…is that a Part 1 I spy. Is there a second half already planned or you just keeping the option open?EDIT: Made it to the end, answered my own question. PLease ignore
Is this thing with Hsien-Ko gonna be ongoing, going through honeymoon, kids(What the hell would they even look like?), Nemesis gaining a beer gut and finally divorce?
I actually discovered the Clothesline Reset a while ago, but never really looked into it as much as you have. Didn’t know how inescapable it was. But I recommend trying sM instead of sL for the basic setup after Clothesline Reset. It has more range, does more damage, and I find it a bit more consistent. It too catches both forward/back techs. Neutral Tech is, as par for the course, harder to deal with, but still doable.
This gonna be submitted to the front page?
I will be a sad panda if this isn’t submitted to the front page.
First personas awesome hulk videos, now this 12 minute monster of a vid, the front page needs more heavy character combo vids!
You’d think at this point, Nemesis’d start to take off more. Landing a hit once with him leads to an almost guaranteed meter positive kill. VORTEX IS IN MARVEL BAYBEE. EXCEPT WITH TENTACLES.
Problem with s.M is the timing for tentacle slam is weird since the stun state on it is so long, which is why I prefer s.L and c.M over it, it also sometimes places them too far back if you hit at just the tip of s.M because the dash is too short.
There is a 2nd part planned on stuff I didn’t get to fit into the video.
@Gilgamesh: I tried the RR Mad Hopper DHC, its actually kind of tough to follow up since they don’t land on it per se if they’re not in the corner so you have to hit them with the hard tag since it causes soft knockdown.
I sent the video to SRK tips they should post it on the front page within a couple hours.
oh and Hsien-Ko X Nemesis? Just something cute I wondered about, I mean they’re both undead technically. Who knows what the ending to my next vid will be.
For the next part I think I will be focusing on matchups and how to deal with certain characters.
I’m not making these videos per se to reveal new tech to the already intelligent Nemesis community (though if it happens it does) I just put whatever is useful and I find, more so the videos are to reveal how Nemesis SHOULD be played to the world since there are just so many Nemesis players that don’t know what they’re doin
I’m really glad you clarified WHEN to hit the opponent with s.L during resets, that has improved my execution in resets 10 fold.
I’m really disappointed when people make those vids on how to do something, and then go like ‘Here it is…You wanna know how? What are you on? I just supply it, I don’t inform. Go figure it out’
