I find the Chun match up much easier than the Rufus one and I play very good Rufus’ and very good Chuns lol

In the Chun match up option select sweep is amazing

After a falling sky knockdown on Chun you have to bait SBK but also be prepared for the back dash

But after a TT j.mk os sweep is amazing and forces Chun to block and once you have Chun blocking you can push her to the corner and it’s so much easier to deal with her footsies there.

I played F-Words Ibuki yesterday in a loooonnnggg set it finished 20-19 to him I’m considering doing a write up but I’ve never done one before so I’m worried it won’t be good or as indepth as some of the shit HAV has posted. Like the Bison match up which should be the standard for every match up in this thread its that sick.

Put in alot of rounds against Chun last night.

Armor cancel/Breathless OS works a treat against her meaty HP jump-in. The input is QCF+2P,QCF+3K. You’ll absorb both hits and then Breathless. If she doesn’t hit you, EX COD comes out.

The 2 OSes linked in the OP are mandatory for this matchup. Learn them, abuse them.

hmm i have a feelin that ive said this before, but st.mp is surely one of the best way to deal with adons crap but its not foolproof… the adon player can change his timing, though i guess if he has to do the jump version, at least you can focus it…

I was playing an Adon today at the arcades and st. mp is really good, but I also was predicting the jag tooths and lk rolling and most of the time I was in range for a step kick combo. It’s kind of dangerous, but it’s another option to think about. His wall dive can be punished the same way.

But, st.mp is the best thing Abel’s got.
I think–training mode this before you try it–if you st.mp a jaguar tooth, you can dash forward and f+mk.

Why wouldn’t you just neutral jump the wall dive? Safer option.

St.mp is an okay option if you’re trying to stop a jaguar kick before is starts, but you have to hit him before the moves active frames. I think it’s better to block and wait for him to make a mistake. When I tried to use st. mp against him it wasn’t a good way to shut down him offense because more often than not the Adon would be far enough away where my attack would miss and I would take unnecessary damage.

All these opinions were actually on jaguar kick and not jaguar tooth. I’ll remember not to post in the morning anymore.

@Ladramadon - St.mp is very, very, very, effective against Jaguar tooth, I cant see anyone recommendin any better options(besides U1 of course, but even that can get tricky). I think the only way you can mess it up is if you got caught off guard, combined with below average reflex.

@Natty - smh. Anyway im going to Europe tomorrow, gonna be in London from 19-21, i think ill check the arcades while im there.
