walt was worried that fring was converting jesse to his side by getting him to be all buddy buddy with mike so walt made jesse think fring was the one who poisoned brock to get jesse back on his side.
on the rooftop after gus was killed jesse told walt that it wasn’t ricin and it was determined that it was a flower called lily of the valley which jesse assumed brock innocently got into somehow. cut to the scene of the plant in walt’s backyard and then the beginning of the next season where he’s getting rid of all the evidence of the bomb and the plant.
I just had that moment when I realized the M60 is the same gun that was lugged around by Animal Mother in Full Metal Jacket. You know, the really huge dude. How’s Walt gonna lug that into battle?
The restaurant scene was fantastic (that poor kid waiter just trying to make a buck had to deal with some mad awkwardness lol), the “confession” by Walt was stellar. His distortion of the facts along with the faux-emotional performance had me grinding my teeth saying “This motherfucker right here…” fucking genius.
But my favorite Walt scene this ep, was him admitting that his cancer is back to thwart Marie’s plan of inviting Walt Jr. over. He used all the right tools on the fly and made a strong barrier between his son and them. Add 1 part truth, 1 part lie, the perfect cocktail for manipulation.
I don’t think Jesse will go through with setting the house on fire, something will happen. Nevertheless, Jesse has put himself in a VERY precarious position to get offed by multiple parties, but this is precisely the reason why I don’t think he’ll die. Jesse, in my opinion, has always served as the consciousness of the series since season 3. Only he has been on both sides of the fence and chose to let his conscience guide him. There’s a reason why Mike grew to respect him in season 4, he saw that even with all his follies that this kid wasn’t a monster and was just an untethered buoy bobbing in the ocean.
Then again, Breaking Bad has its own direction, so we’ll see…
Todd saying Mr.White shows that he still has respect for him and his operation. It was interesting how he omitted certain other activities in his story. If a coup d’etat does occur and they go after Walt and his kinfolk, he’s not going to be an eager beaver.
Last but not least, the scene where Walt goes to get his gun from the soda machine was hilarious. Notice how Skylar was nonchalant about Walt fumbling over himself with some bullshit excuse as to why he’s checking the machine. It’s almost as if she’s either in her own world, or has come to accept Walt’s compulsive lying.
Know what… you are right about that. Never would of taken the comparison being Marlo was a silent sociopath with more determination… but Todd is the same just more open an dry wit.
She was young, young enough to be a recent graduate. Todd kept saying “Mr White.” Will she make the mental connection, especially after that bloody paper towel clogs the toilet, and the police come in to investigate?
I love how well they purposely add comedy to what are suppose to be highly intense/dramatic situations.
When Jesse hulk’d out at the end I really thought he was going to blast Saul. Thank god he didn’t cause Saul is my favorite character.
Predictions: Everyone is dead except for Walt Jr. and Marie who adopts him. Heisenberg is gearing up for revenge against Matt Demon who fucked everything up. Bill Burr has seen too much shit and decides that a stand-up career is more suitable for himself.
but [details=Spoiler]explain the time lapse (remember walt has grown hair back…aged)… house has his name written on the inside…from who an why… how can todd lab ultimately fail when he took literal notes during cooks when he was “mentored” by walt… ricisin(sp?) is brought to our attention but for whom since he has to get close to use? The lotto ticket…??? that will play apart for whom ever gets the loot.

I really want to see how walt is going to talk himself out of this. Jesse is hell bent on getting even and I doubt any kind of reason is gonna work so either he gets laid out or the precense of walt jr makes jesse stop.
But the confrontation between walt and jesse is going to be more tense than the dinner scene.
[details=Spoiler]It was already revealed that Todd sucks. When Lydia told the meth guys in the dirt tunnel to use Todd or Todd’s method, they said he nearly started a fire. The reason I say Hank gets killed is because I can’t see Hank going out any other way. When the word goes out that Walt is Heisenberg, the fact that he is the brother-in-law of one of the head members of the DEA is not going to look good no matter which way you look at it. I really don’t think they are just going to let Hank get reduced to a normal citizen, the DEA is his life.
And tbh, I can see them just letting the ricin never be used, since no one would see that coming. &bout the lotto and house, who knows.[/details]
Nigga shot a harmless, innocent man in the face, so while it should be taken into account that it was under dire circumstances and that he felt guilty about it he still isn’t much better than Walter. Anyone who says Jesse isn’t a monster has some serious emotional and mental issues they should get sorted out ASAP
