Breaking Bad

The old man’s name is Hector Salamanca, and he’s also been called Don Salamanca.

Comments have been made by Vince Gilligan to suggest that Walt will pay for his crimes somehow by the time Breaking Bad concludes, but I’m hoping he steps up and rallies in the meantime. Walt used to have plenty of tricks, but he’s spent so much time under Gus’s thumb this season that he’s basically Walt the Underachieving Workaday Chemist all over again.

don salamanca>? never heard of it.

How would you feel if your wife gave the money you planned to use to save your family to the guy she was fucking.

Scream-laughs are probably the proper reaction.

The last season will have like 17 episodes I think, so that is more then enough time for walt to rise and fall gallantly.

Morphiend, it was said they by Skylar that Walt makes around 7 million a year, that averages to about 583,000 a month. Keep in mind Walt hasn’t been doing this for a year yet, probably 5 months at the most.

Between the car wash, Hank’s medical bills, paying Saul and the money to Benenke (aka doucho supremo) they should still have some money, but maybe the finer details will be exposed later.

Gus taking a serene but sadistic enjoyment in seeing Tio aka Don Salamanca squirming over the death of his associates and kin showed the underlying nature of the man. The timbre in his voice has changed dramatically since his “revival” from near death.

Walt is being put into a do-or-die scenario, which is precisely what he needs to not only survive, but thrive. He just needs to realize that his ego should be tamed, badly. White needs to start thinking again, really thinking.

Is anyone starting to think Walt’s cancer is back and perhaps spreading into his brain? That would explain a lot.

I am thinking he might have some kind of cancer coming back…

THANK YOU. I think the perfect time for Walt to kill that junkie was when he first brokered the deal with Gus. He could have easily have added a stipulation that required Gus to kill Jessee, his two flunkies and destroy the RV before working for him. I don’t think Gus would have blinked twice since at the time he considered Jessee to be useless junkie scum.
Or he could have let that dumb ass get killed by those two drug dealers instead of taking them out himself. That was a true WTF moment for me. WHY did Walt continually save this fucker’s life?? Each time he’s always regretted it.

As for Walt’s tempting fate with Hank, maybe subconsciously he wants to be caught, just like serial killers who leave clues at the crime scene?

That was before Walt REALLY broke bad, End of Season 3 Walt would have just let Jesse die in a snap.

He was still grappling with having to take others lives to get ahead in this business. He didn’t have Gus’ cold blood in him yet.

Nah Walt let Jessie live because of his principles. Jesse is the one who helped Walt get going in the first place and was the only one he could have trusted, even though he was a complete moron.

Yeah the principles that disappeared when he finally went bad. We just said the same thing TWICE MAIDEN MASHA.

GAWD. Gus is pretty much my favorite character now after the terminator thing, seeing how the cartel did him so dirty, and then how he waited so long to get them all back. All in a masterstroke.

My whole thing is why does Walt still feel the need to talk shit to Gus. I mean Gus has never revealed his hand to Walt, but all the while Walt has been fucking up more and more. I believe the thing is that Gus proposed what he did out of a favor to Jesse for the whole Cartel thing, but I really wish Walt would quit pushing his luck with Gus. Also the ending was like “this nigga is about to snap” that was a true rage moment. Skyler fucked up big time and, I don’t blame Walt for nutting up, because she really has fucked up royally. Anywasy I can’t wait until the next episode

Walt would never let Jessie die man. Even when Jessie was being a piece of shit and partying out. If so he would have just killed him because there were mad times where Jessie deserved it (like when he was stealing the meth)

Hell, Jesse might still help Walt if Walt’s able to convince him somehow that Gus will kill Walt’s family. Jesse has a soft spot for kids (baby Holly). Considering Jesse was there for the Cartel poisoning and Gus’ latest torturing of Tio (great and cruel scene by the way), I don’t think it’ll take much convincing. What he does about it is another story.

Walt won’t let Jesse die because Walt loves Jesse.

Walt insists on talking shit to everybody because Walt hates himself.

Not to oversimplify things, but there isn’t always a logical thread to his actions because he’s not a terribly logical person. If he always did what makes sense, the show would be about Walter White the Nobel Prize winning chemist.

Walt hates what he’s become and his situation, no doubt about it.

Humans as a whole do illogical things, Walt is just being human, emotional. He is still an obvious genius and rational in things not directly involving his own drama. It was also apparent that Walt’s ambitions and dreams were flushed when he had his real love stolen from him, his accomplishments and hopes meant little in the wake of that.

My favorite intro scene

Spoiler

Was when Walter and his former girlfriend Gretchen were talking about the chemical makeup of the human body in extreme detail, showing that there was 1% missing from our composition. He was having this poignant moment with Gretchen to hint at the depth of their relationship (and the fact that in the present he and Jesse were dissolving that dude’s corpse).

Walt is a tired, tired man. It’s clear part of him doesn’t want to do this anymore. Walter made his peace when he was at death’s door; but with a new lease on life White was left with a fork in the road instead of an impasse.

That’s true. There’s no logic to being self destructive. I just hate to see it happen to (once) smart characters.

Walt is going to kill Jesse. THIS IS BELIEVE.

Here are my predictions for the last two episodes

-the vacuum disappear guy turns out to be mike
-mike heals up and returns back to new mexico
-hank finally realizes walt is heisenburg
-walt blows up the superlab
-walt comes into contact with the vacuum guy not knowing it is mike. walt meets up with mike and tells him gus plans on killing his family.
-mike has second thoughts of being on gus’s side and considers being an ally with walt
-gus sends tyrus to go kill hank
-tyrus kills hank
-jesse goes back to walt’s side.
-season finale twist, mike joins sides with walt and mike goes with him to kill gus and gus dies. jesse kills tyrus

Lets just see how many of those come true. I have a strong feeling about Mike joining sides with Walt at the end of this season.
