Brampton 2005 Thread

lol, all this because i wrote “b-town cvs2 > sauga cvs2” hahaha

I never said sauga sucks at cvs2.

I never said b-town gave sauga a beatdown in cvs2.

You can’t complain how the 5 on 5 went down, cause you couldn’t get 5 players on your team and needed teddy to make it.

Brampton can’t get 5 anymore, so we can’t take the challenge. You guys had the same option to not run the 5 on 5 when you found out your team was short players.

There’s no real need to run any other games, cause brampton doesn’t play Marvel or 3s. Well Jerris being the exception to Marvel.

white krn fever at its finest. i am a street racer.

ill be on bramptons team, worked there enough times to be considered!

And no justin, I’m not proud of that 12 wins either. If we got 13 I still wouldn’t have cared too much, its on jap sticks, we woulda got owned on american sticks.

Also, about brampton > sauga… I donm’t think you’re greater than sauga in any game, not even CvS2. Use total tourney results, you’ll see Sauga > Brampton, not some 5v5 that happened ages ago.

I dont think Q is dead weight. Shes good at blocking and can AHVB. . . AND she almost beat gerjay, that match was friggin close.

your right justin we should stop talking about it, we all know sauga > brampton

oh shiet…
billy > all

i kinda wanna know whos bl0nka is better… jason or jason?
im not asking who can rc better, but in general, who has a better bl0nka.
cause i think jason has the better one.

billy.

If by Jason you mean me, then yes.

i meant jason.
who the hell r u.

billy.

sigh OK let’s take a look. I’ll use CvS2 because that’s the only game Jason and I actually play. I’ve also only accounted for the top 2 Sauga placings in the CvS2 tournaments as a reference to Brampton’s only regular tournament entrants.

York University (10/01/2005)
Noodleman = 2nd
Gerjay = 4th

T6 (07/15/2005)
Nagata Lock II = 9th
Noodleman = 13th
Jiggabry = 17th
Gerjay = 17th

Team Canada Qualifiers (06/25/2005)
Gerjay = 2nd
Nagata Lock II = 7th
Krasshole = 9th
Noodleman = 17th

ECCX Tune Up
Gerjay = 3rd
Noodleman = 7th
Nagata Lock II = 9th
Jiggabry = 9th

MAT III (03/19/2005)
Matt, Gerjay and myself all tied 13th with Jiggabry at 17th

No Time Limit No Doubt at ORBIT (03/05/2005)
Nagata Lock II = 5th
Gerjay = 7th
Angel Of Rage = 9th
Noodleman = 17th

February ORBIT tournament (02/05/2005)
3rd = Gerjay
5th = Nagata Lock II
9th = Noodleman
13th = Jiggabry

I left out The Road To T6 tournies because not all of us entered each one and they were single elimination. However, just to aid both causes, Gerjay won one of them and placed 2nd twice. I came 2nd once and 4th twice.

As for console tournaments, Matt won Brett’s tourney over Jason with Gerjay 3rd and me 4th. However back at NLDIII among stiffer comp, I placed 3rd leaving everyone else back in 7th or lower.

Noodleman has placed highest since the new season started.

I placed highest out of the lot in Canada’s biggest tournament.

Gerjay has placed highest regularly over the aforementioned time span (3 - 2 over myself)

With the exception of Gerjay, Sauga hasn’t broken 9th in any major tournament in nearly a year.

Personally I think we’re about as even as two sets of players are going to get. It’s basically a coin flip on any given day (which I’ve said so many times) as to who’s better.

well I dont think I’ve entered any Major CvS2 tournament in over a year. . . cept ECCX

Actually you’ve entered all of them , you’ve just placed lower than Bryan except once.

I gurantee I havent entered ALL of them.

And i know i got 5th at one of them but the results never got posted

no i still think jason is better.
go jason!

billy

Sure the analysis was good, but you left out tylor, who I think placed pretty high.

I can’t actually believe I’ve placed so low in that many tournaments… I suck. I quit CvS2.

And as for T6… I lost like 2nd round to arturo (somehow), and then to Ian. I played my matches on the other cab, even though I requested to play on the main one, since I couldn’t execute anything on the second one. Don’t use T6 as an example.

play me for money?

I have absolutely no issue playing people for money. You show up to York U or ORBIT and I’ll put down the cash. That’s where I play my best (even better than on NiggaMASS) and that’s where I’ll take my bets. If you people think you’re so good that you can take me down for cash then you’ll do it on my terms and let your apparent skills close the gap between your play on US sticks and Jap sticks.

I went back through the results because I did overlook Tylor:
T6 = 13th
Team Canada Qualifiers = 7th
ORBIT Christmas Tournament = 7th

Bottom line, Tylor (who I acknowledge as a superior player) has never placed higher than myself in a tournament.

didnt he come 3rd behind Roger and JS one time?

I remember he beat roger in a tournament and lost to JS in winners final.

pwned? :encore:

You doctored a quote and that’s ownage? HAHA, Adil could probably do a better job than that. It’s not my beef you’re too shook of jap sticks to play me at ORBIT for cash.

Matt; you’re right. I forgot about the ORBIT tournament. He did come third though the full results were never released and as the debate shows, there weren’t even enough people for Tylor to get his entrance fee back.
