I highly doubt Microsoft is ignoring her. It’s just that they’ve collectively taken this long to stop laughing. I’m sorry, but no sympathy. If you, in this day and age, haven’t figured out how to keep yourself out of debt, and incur debt that isn’t outside of your ability to protect yourself from (e.g., large, uncovered medical bills or LEGITIMATE credit card fraud, not letting your kid get babysit by a 360 that you just happened to store your credit card info on and left purchasing power unlocked on), then you should be prepared to face the consequences, no corporate/federal handholding, nothing. Just suck it up, the rest of the world does.

As people stated earlier in this thread, they already have a system in place for parental control. If anything, she should have just used prepaid cards and let the kid manage the money, that would have taught him that money was a finite source! BRILLIANT!
