Shane Mosley v. Zab Judah just been signed for May 31st. Judah is betting $100,000 on himself to knockout Mosley. I don’t know about that. Based on both fighter’s fights against Miguel Cotto, Mosley took Cotto’s shots much better. It doesn’t seem like Judah is a hard puncher at 147

There’a lot more details to it, and the guy is trying to make it a realistic boxing game(with knockdowns, rounds, etc.). Very ambitious project, so do support him with comments/ratings even if you don’t like the anime approach.

It’s hard to be a Mayweather fan nowadays. Talks of a de la Hoya “and” Hatton rematch does not sit well with the hard-core boxing fans… and I think Myaweather can beat Cotto.

Got some good boxing fights tonight. and not on PPV. a couple of boxing " Final four" in the welterweight and light heavy division.
Welterweight ( HBO)- Miguel Cotto vs. Alfonso Gomez. Kermit Cintron vs. Antonio Margarito
Light Heavyweight (Showtime) - Chad Dawson vs. Glen Johnson. Clinton Woods vs. Antonio Tarver
IMO, thre showtime card is the more quality card, but ( of course) the HBO card is prabably the more popular one. The winners of these fights should meet each other next.
Cotto is gonna fuck Gomez up, Margarito will beat Cintron again. I seen Chad Dawson live and that dood is the truth. He is going to get the torch passed to him and lead the light heavy division.

I bet Gomez will fare just as good if not better than Mosley against Cotto.
I feel that Cotto will beat the living shit out of Gomez and it will not go past the 8th round.
And I think that Margarito will take out Cintron again, but this time he’ll take a couple of more round to get the job done because Cintron won’t quit like he did the last time.
I’m still a fan of his, fighting Hoya and Hatton will bring him in good money at a low risk at the end of the day it’s him who is putting his head on the chopping board. I beleive he will fight Cotto soon enough in anycase just that if he fights him now the fight won’t generate as much money the longer it’s left to brew the more money the fight can make.
Cotto vs Gomez I didn’t realise was tonight but I am going to stay up and watch it, I haven’t seen much of Cotto’s fights so it should be interesting.
Cotto and Gomez both bring it, it may not be pretty but it will be entertaining

I think people have convinced themselves those fortunate low blows against Zab and his three round “tactical retreat” against Mosley never happened.

They should have stopped the match at the end of round 4. In round 5 it was pretty clear that Cotto didn’t want to fight any more, no one wants blood on their hands. If he continued smacking him around he could have seriously damaged him.
I cannot understand why corner men or refs don’t stop a fight, a fighter obviously has pride so will keep going, the corner man should put the fighter out the suffering.
Margarito controlled his fight also, I felt it a bit for the guy his pride must be hurting. Though he should have fought Margarito at a distance like he did somewhat in the first round he tried fighting him up close and got a beating. Granted I am not in the fighters position if he could he probably would have fought at a distance but Margarito kept moving foward.
Cotto vs Margirato would be a good match, I would then like the winner of that match to face Mayweather.
I agree Gomez corner should had stopped it after the fourth round.
The winner of the Cotto - Margarito bout would put the pressure on Mayweather for a fight for the undisputed champion ( WBC, WBA, IBF), although Floyd is the linear champion.
Mayweather fight Cotto? yeah right he’d rather fight de la washed up again for $$$$ than actually risk his perfect record. When it’s no longer convenient for him he’s just gonna make an excuse and bow out.
