Seriously, I was dying when she came out.
I’m disappointed in this season so far. It’s at least as funny as last season, but I don’t like where its heart’s at (or isn’t, really). Last night’s episode was a step in the right direction, but still lacked the real, emotionally charged social commentary that made me fall in love with this show in the first place.

That episode got banned because–it tells the truth. While exaggerated, its still telling the truth. It looks like its going to be good too. I hope that the ep gets leaked, since it got banned.

Haven’t been keeping up on Boondocks, but this news pisses me off. BET needs to get the fuck over themselves if they’re intimidated by a fucking toon. Mcgruder’s been taking shots at BET since the original comic, and well made shots at that, If none of this wasn’t hitting home, then I wouldn’t see why they’d be so hellbent to stop these episodes from airing. I’m confused because I’m happily pissed.
Those B.E.T. eps are threatening to surpass “Stinkmeaner Strikes Back” and “…Not Snitching” as best overall, but this is better than nothing.
So that’s why this episode never aired. I was waiting for this one for so long. I’ve been saying fuck you to BET for years. Hopefully this will be a universal wake up all for all the dumb fucks who keep them in business.
The “Hunger Strike” clip was funny because it was so true. I wish they did air those two episodes. I don’t know what BET is worried about, they would still remain in business long after Boondocks is off the air. They should just arrange to have Hudlin’s name removed from the opening credits (he doesn’t do jack squat for the show anyway) and move on.
Anyway I hope those 2 episodes come out on the DVD…
