FYI, this was the final episode for 2007, clocking in at 10 for the season. But before you have a heart attack thinking this season has about 5 more to go, there are still 10 left! I can’t believe 50% of this season is already over considering the long-ass wait it took to get here. But I ain’t bitching…or Imma die tryin…
Ruckus reality show, The N Word (used against Riley), The Hunger Strike (Huey vs. BET), the identity of that mystery woman in Nokato’s av, and an Al Sharpton clone ep (fat dude with the blond hair?) are just many of the known plots and details for the rest of the season.
I can’t wait until the day Cindy interacts with Ed and Rummy! lol And I hope and pray Caeser makes his debut appearance on Episode 20. Hell, I’ll even take Hiro instead since he’ll be second fiddle to Caeser anyway.
Until then, I’ll have to find alternative links to those Uncle Ruckus Christmas Carols that will be on iTunes in the next week or so…
I’m rewatching the recent ep, again. Really nice one, I think the writing gets better with each ep. The rivalry between Riley and Huey was hyped up quite a bit, but very interesting. My theory proved right also, once Riley got his Vega Claw (aka guns) he gained better tools in fighting. The only thing is, Huey sorta stepped down to his level still since guns aren’t really Huey’s expertise. Huey is still over Riley but Riley definitely still shows potential. Displaying even more heart than his stint with Butch, Riley will have his day soon I think. Riley is still a retard, though.
As far as the woman in my av, we’ll see…

Watching Riley and Huey fight definitely reminds me of a Cable vs. Magneto fight. Riley had Huey locked down behind the couch until Huey used his pillow assist which allowed him to rush down Riley.
The psychotic look on Riley’s face before he got shot had me laughing.
Where did the orange jumpsuit come from??
Huey should’ve destroyed Riley instantly for blowing the money like that.

They’re composed really well. I didn’t like them at first but they fit the style of the characters and its cohesive to their animation and color choices. The Studio change is for the better, although it’s not MADHOUSE. We’ll what’s coming next though, I doubt it’s what I think it is…they’re probably saving that for later or toward the end.

I really hope they do a background story eventually, like why Huey became so militant and why Riley is so ghetto and their parents before… etc… etc…
