No new episode this week. It was the first episode of season three: the Thugnificent episode. Next week’s episode will be new and hilarious… a zombie apocalypse… except instead of zombies, it’s a fried chicken flu epidemic.

Does anybody notice that at the end of every episode the credits were sped up for some reason? I checked into it to see who’s behind the creation of this cartoon.

thundercats was straight up anime since the shit was animated by he Japanese. we should’ve been eating ramen back in 80’s.
A lot of anime is done in Korea now instead of Japan. Japan does a lot of the storyboarding and Korea does a lot of the animation (IE makes things move). If you read the credits to pretty much any anime from Japan made in the last five years or so you’re going to find a lot of Korean names mixed in with Japanese ones.
Basically Boondocks using a Japanese anime studio means Koreans are working on it.
Yeah they also animate about a ton of American cartoons too.
i dunno about another studio for storyboarding. that doesnt make sense, since americans can do that just fine.
In the case of Boondocks you mean? Sanford Kelly’s brother (ROFL I forget his real name) went to the Japanese studio for Boondocks this season so it’s all coming out of the same country really AFAIK, regardless of who is drawing what exactly. Except for the animation part that’s being done in Korea. Difficult to say for sure without a DVD special.
EDIT: Lesean Thomas. Had to look it up. I really should remember his name by now.
Well what I meant was that since its a black cartoon & since the “N” word is used more times in one 30-minute episode than I probably say all year (well maybe a month!) that I always assumed it was done by blacks or at least Americans.
But I should have known better! Asian cartoon characters are always drawn with big eyes.
