this episode was quite funny cuz I just got done watching the Empire Strikes Back on Spike a few days ago.
Sorry! I never saw it before. I thought it was this season.
I don’t know why everyone is down on this episode, I think its one of the best episodes I’ve seen. Sure it was predictable, but I still enjoyed it immensely:
Ruckus being his usual hateful self
Huey randomly hitting Riley
The Rileysault
Most everything Lando said and did.
The return of Gin Rummy, although it didn’t sound like Samuel Jackson did the voice. Did he? He sounded different if he did.
Steve fuckin’ Wilkos.
Only thing that annoyed me was that this was a particularly “nigga heavy” episode (meaning the number of times ‘nigga’ was said).
I might be late on this but this is the “season” of Grandad. Season was was Huey, 2 was Riley, and 3 seems to be Grandad. I would grade this a B- so far which is why Aaron shouldn’t make this the final season.
Samuel L Jackson was listed as a guest star so he must have done Rummy’s voice this epidsode.
Another season? Season 4? Season of Ruckus?

Edit : That season would be wrong on so many levels. I can see a ep where Ruckus actually dates a black women.
oh you know it could happen, if and whenever we get some sort of confirmation that this isn’t the last season. That would be an epic episode.
It would be real interesting to see the origin of Ruckus’s hatred.
I can actually see a situation where Ruckus would date a black woman. After being rejected by several white women because of his appearance, Granddad sets him up with a black woman. Of course he goes off on her when he sees her, but he stops all that racist gibberish when she compliments him on his looks. We all get surprised that she actually said that, because Ruckus is an ugly mofo. Ruckus stares in shock for a few seconds when Granddad suggests that they should go out. Ruckus starts yapping again insulting this genuinely nice woman. Granddad pushes him out the door with the woman and locks it, because he’s tired of Ruckus’ old grumpy ass. Ruckus then accepts the woman’s invitation, but not without calling her “Bubbles in a dress”.
As for Ebony Brown, I’m thinking she’s going to be a parody of Foxy Brown. The movie character, not the rapper.

Damn…in just a minute and a half, Ruckus dropped some awesome lines. I gotta hit the sack, so I’ll torrent and finish watching in the morn.

This episode was kinda sad. I felt bad for Grandad.
I did not even try to rhyme that.
Yeah I did feel for Grandad. He had a woman who wasn’t crazy, a hoe, or a gold digger but didn’t love himself enough. Ruckus falling for a black woman came earlier than I expected but I :lol: when he said she was a beautiful ape. I also liked when Tom gave the “white folks” thumbs up.
What a depressing ep.
So basically the final season will end with Grandad dying alone, whee!
