It was good to see Huey and Riley get some proper screen time. Huey hasn’t said all but 10 or 20 words before this episode.
Who’s gonna sew all those pieces back together? Of course, they could go kung-fu phantom, brought back by undying love/neediness for Grandad angle. That would be funny as hell. Her pwning everyone who even looks at him funny after he leaves the scene, and him thinking he sees her everywhere he goes, only for her to disappear into crowds or around corners…then once he admits it’s cool to have a guardian angel, she rushes him down out of nowhere like Shampoo on Ranma, gushing like a puppy.
Huey will absorb his fighting spirit ala Kenshiro Fist of the North Star and honour his memory by defeating his enemies with Grand Master Bushido Brown’s techniques.
Champloo was Manglobe (who also did Ergo Proxy), and Bebop was Bones (Eureka Seven being another one of theirs). The guys who did seasons two and three of The Boondocks are Madhouse (Trigun, Paranoia Agent, Gungrave, Death Note, and plenty of others).
Id just like to see huey take on someone his age seeing as how he always fights grown ass men…
Cairo’s bitch ass doesnt count because it was one punch and then they fought off screen…I mean with music and flips and parry’s and all kinds of shit…
just watched an espiode of season 1 and compared it to season 3 and the difference is crazy…Huey was much more uptight and a dick in season 1 but in season 3 he seems more relaxed and mature and I think thats because season 1 was trying to follow the comic version of huey.
we still do not know what the other episodes are about so you never know, they could do some karate kid shit with huey
I think the whole “undead” angle in The Boondocks has been done enough.
I’d rather her not be dead at all, just horribly scarred and vengeful like Dr.Blight.

Right from the start, this episode has been too funny. The dream sequence was hilarious. I died when Robert tossed Jasmine, literally feeding her to the wolves. :lol: So many references, too.
Anybody remember a Sonny Chiba movie using that same beheading basket trap that Crab miser used?
What happened to Jasmine? Only line she had in season 3 so far is when she got thrown down the stairs :lol:
The weapon and even the sound effects are directly from "Master of the Flying Guillotine"
