Mago is just a good player. He had a few good moments, but he just played very smart. Nothing really that exploited Sagat’s strengths.

Okay so what is the logic in this post?
Bonchan can beat these ‘Gods’ of SSF4 but still falters to win when required, and therefor Sagat doesn’t have what it takes?
Just because you obtain a set of videos of a Sagat player beating OTHER really good players, it doesn’t add up to anything. It doesn’t mean he is totally amazing, doesn’t mean he is totally crap. Seraphin-Angel basically states that because of these videos, this makes Bonchan so much better than other Sagats. Sorry, but there are also a LOT of videos out there of Bonchan losing, and just because you picked out the ones where he was able to get the best of really good players, it doesn’t add up.
Typical youtube hype. Lets say I upload a few videos of Justin Wong beasting Daigo (Ie. some casuals or something). People will be like “Omg daigo gets beasted by Justin everytime!!!111”.
Angry Scar. Not a gimmick. It costs one bar, and basically gives you a counterhit-vanilla DP. That is sexy.
Back to the original idea of this post. I think the original question was supposed to be “What does it take to make Sagat good?” While I can’t really answer that entirely, I will say that Bonchan is not the last good Sagat player that will surface.
Angry Scar is a gimmick. Only true use is vs. Rog and Gouken. And when AE comes out, definitely we’ll see more pro Sagats. That’s where real game is played.

Abel feels a disadvantage in blatant Dhalsim.
Even though Abel was tough four days of strike, the adjustment is harder if you look this clear.
When I first heard about the changes, is not too unreasonable Abel! As expected, but I think it is harder.
SF4 was no good way to strike as well Dhalsim
Sagatto fell stamina, but I think the main cause of the fire and fell from one shot of one of Dhalsim hurts.
During the first week or so and SSF4 4, YHCmochi be done with about 10 games, it was impossible game! Lol

This is really interesting. Ultra 1 recommended vs Honda? Disadvantage VS Ken and Vega?
Both characters have been buffed and IMO among the top10 for this game. Vega has just been all round buffed , he has the tools to go over sagat’s fireball game and those pokes are infernal.
Ken just has the ability to mix-up and put on pressure like crazy, i can see that might be a problem against meterless sagat.
Ultra 1 im guessing can clean punish a sumo splash? Can’t quite tell
theres 2 uses for u2 against honda
- punish blocked hp headbutt (can do this with kara uppercut anyway)
- fullscreen ultra juggle with ex TS
take u1… more dmg, and make honda less likely to jump because of trade uppercut
