Hey all, I know Im kind of new here, but do you think it would be cool if I showed up to an event? I live in Chesapeake, but am currently in Fairfax for a few weeks to watch my Mom’s house while shes away in France. I know absolutly no one in the area, but am an avid gamer and would like to get involved with the scene up here and meet some people, especially since Im about to be stationed in Quantico (Marine Corps). Im dropping her off at Dulles on Saturday around 5, so Im free anytime after that and would love to come to an event. Anyways, let me know if its cool or not, thanks!

oh yea I got it. being completely unbalanced with no reason to keep dates, I took it as this weekend as next weekend. I’ll probably stroll through. It’s not costing that much to ride down to your place on a saturday.

So going to a place called Arcade Electronics, funny enough… they have nothing to do with arcades… to (hopefully) get my molex connectors and male pins for GG’s controls. They should have it all though, and if so, GG will be up and running tonight with working controls.

Also, if everything goes to plan and I get an email back tonight around midnight, I’ll have an order in for Vampire Savior and Super Puzzle Fighter II X. Making the only CPS2 game I want that I don’t have Aliens vs Predator.

Damnit, I’m getting back into collecting again. And I just found a place that has a bunch of the cave shooters I want. It’s broke time…

House of the Dead 2 is still the best shooter ever made, and easily in my top 10 arcade games of all time.
I might work on getting HotD2’s cab before the other Cave Shooters… hmmm… Trouble is just finding another Naomi Universal for a good price and in decent shape.

Well, holy shit. After 6 hours of wiring, rewiring, and dealing with SEGA’s terrible ideas for grounding a cabinet, Guilty Gear is alive and working 100% I need to pick up a quick molex connector tomorrow to make one part more secure, but it’s working!!!
