Well, the thing is. Now if they set it to like 18, which is what most teenagers want it to be. What would probably happen is their would be a boom in the use of alcohol, and alcohol related deaths (accidents etc) most likely. I think this is a reasonable assumption. However, after a while I’d assume it would no longer be as a problem, and it will pan out and reach moderate levels of use like with adults. Of course not all adults use it moderately, but yah.

The problem is mainly our culture. In Europe this isn’t as a problem, and that’s why they drink alcohol at an early age.
