Does anyone that is going on Friday and/or saturday know how to fix TE sticks? I’ve had one under my bed for about 6-7 months now that just doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s the USB or the Power, it can connect to the console only if you move the cable in a certain angle and hold it. Also, I have some news to relay about a possible tournament coming up nearby that I need everyone at bobby’s suggestions on. I can come by around 5 tomorrow to help if ya need.
check the connectors at the end of the USB cable, also it sounds like the wire is the problem.
Anytime around noon, we are gonna reassemble a blast city and get guilty gear working on it. Should be pretty simple.
I could definitely use the help Friday, I gotta put the monitor in and re assemble the control panel.
Do you mean the break-away cable or the USB cable itself? I’ve tried it with different break-aways so that shouldn’t be the problem. How would I go about fixing it if the cable is busted?
Bobby, is 5pm fine or a bit late?
It sounds like the same issue that happens with headphones, the wires get cut and you have to wiggle it to get a connection, hence why in IT you bolt crap down. I’ve also seen this with mice.
fixing the cable is a mess, it requires knowing where break is but after that is a quick solder job.
That’s why i’m asking on here, I have no clue at all on how to do things like that. If anyone can do it, we can negotiate a price and some pizza.

@Kros, buy yourself a cable that has at least 4 wires(could be ethernet), then someone can help replace your current one.
trying to figure out where a wire snapped inside the current wire is like looking for a nickel in a jar of quarters.
Any guides out there for something like this, or should give someone the supplies+stick+money for the job? Usually, when I try something out like this, everything goes wrong.
