I just wanted to send a big thanks and GG to all who made it out today. I hope you all had a good time and I hope we will do it again soon. Hopefully when the weather gets more awesome, I can have an SRK cookout or something. At any rate, Ill post up the next time Ill be setting up a game night here. Until then keep it easy and Ill try to get out to some of these other events as well as long as I got the time.

My execution felt poor overall but it was good to get some more matches in vs a gief player.
School/papers/tests taking away my SF time 
Trust me I know the feeling James. I got a stack of math papers a mile high.
And as far as execution goes, Joe was literally practicing to beat YOU. Hes a freakin monster Gief. I love it and hate it because he makes me a better player ultimately, but he makes me feel like a noob having to unlearn a tactic and relearn new ones only to have to rinse and repeat when he catches on to those ones.
I wouldnt be half as versatile as I am now if it werent from him (even though I played like absolute tripe myself on saturday.)

I just played the matchup with Rog completely wrong for the most part. I hate turtling to win unless its a tourny but against good giefs you pretty much have too.
I got hit by too many lariats by hitting the wrong moves like c.hk and not using c.hp and s.lp correctly.
Im glad yall are practicing a lot. Its nice to see the scene in Central IL begin to grow again. For the longest time it was like me and my friend in Champaign playing 3s seriously for the most part but thank the lord SF4 has brought so many people into the scene.
Yeah, I couldn’t make it this weekend, but hopefully I will be able to make the next one.
