Also, Leona probably isn’t as bad a character as that tier list suggested. She does damage. She just has to work harder/smarter than a Shen or an Iori.
After seeing that video I think I need to drop King. I like the character design and the zoning. She just isn’t a threat… Ash and Saiki are way better zoning characters.
BTW Saiki is super cheap.

I mostly just play some grimy ass marvel. I used to play sf4 all day, but gief nerfs made me drop him, and then i was basically learning a new game. I’m pretty good at mk and I have some interest in playing kof. I just havent found characters other than terry that i really like yet. Used to play some blaz as well. Anything 2d really.
Slusho: I feel Leona can be a legit threat in XIII if you have ample meter. She might not be a good starter but as a 2nd or anchor she can lock people down pretty well. I actually main Leona myself and I’m going to keep using her despite the tiers. In regards to King, I feel her main problem is the lack of a decent anti-air (unless you burn meter for EX Trap Shot) but her drive combos are easy and since her slide (df+ D) can cancelled into specials I think she can get in.

Im going to be working on Tira and Natsu for Friday it looks like. So far the plan is going to be meet at my office around 5:30-6 do the dinner thing, and hope Noodle is awake for the 7:30 start time. I will keep you all updated if anything changes. Saturday may be an option as well if Friday is too tight.
Hey guys!! I’m an undergrad student @ IU and basically looking for a local scene. I play a lot of umvc3 with a friend and sometimes T6.But it’s getting stale fighting the same guy over and over. So it would be really cool to meet other players.

Friday evenings are our usual meetup. It is on track so far. For those without a ride we meet at the chemistry building at 5:30, grab dinner then go to Noodlehead’s house for gaming. There’s also a Facebook group called Bloomington FGC that some organization is done on as well if you have FB.

Just letting everyone know that we definitely have a game room through IU gaming. I’ll post again once we have a specific place picked out, but Derek talked to Deadpool at IU gaming and he’s going to check out the room this weekend.
As far as weekly gatherings go, what would you like to see once we get the room? I’m all for cheap tournaments and streaming. Anything other suggestions?
